What are the English requirements for the new immigration bill?
I love it. No resources to round up “11” million criminals for deportation. But, somehow, every one of them is going to learn to speak right and proper English as a matter of course. There’ll be resources aplenty for that and they’ll all sign up for it right away, ya betcha.
Bill would require 11 million illegal aliens to learn English.
That’s going to work out as good as a boarder fence,the amnesty deal is in the bag all the D.C. chimps received their bag of bananas.
Maybe the government will hire some of O’s ‘activists’ to teach English, and it’s just another gravy train for the unions and their ilk.
I predict this will NOT come to pass - the 11 M learning English. My great-grandmother came from Germany, never really learned English. Her kids did, but then they were taught in school that they were Americans and we spoke English here. Might not be the same these days.
How can you MAKE people learn something? What will the test be?? IF there is a test, it will be nouns only AND anyone with an excuse will not have to take it.

That’s what so sad. Americans suffer at the hands of these criminals and it’s just a big dog and pony show to our elected public “servants.”
Does anybody really think these criminals are going to learn English? rachel jeantel went through the school system and she can't even read cursive. Does anybody really think anything is going to change except of course now they will be citizens, they will still collect every damn government handout in this country. If they didn't deport these losers before now, they sure as hell won't deport them after this bill is shoved down our throats.
Get rid of ALL “For English, press 1”, “For Spanish, press 2” crap. Just have English with no other choice buttons. That includes push buttons in banks. Learn English or be totally dysfunctional in American society (as if they aren’t already).

The same way they prove you’re a citizen - they ask you “are you a citizen ? If you answer “yes”, then you are.
So they’ll prove that you speak English by asking you “habla ingles?” If you say “Si” that proves you speak English.
It wouldn’t work. Nobody expects it to work. Its a lie that the legislators are telling you so it will seem OK to let the entire underclass of another nation burrow into our welfare system, destroy our national identity and create a permanent one party political system.
Who cares? No immigration is being followed as it is.
I hunk he knows we aren’t and hopes we are. Because he is definitely not doing this out of conviction, only out of necessity. He is somehow being coerced. Did you hear his interview with Hannity? He doesn’t believe this at ALL. He’s not even trying to persuade us. He’s going through the motions. Ryan used to be a very good guy. I think they got to him somehow.

No, it is not a payoff to teachers, it just lying to the American public so they can get their support. You had to learn English under the 1986 amnesty, but it was never enforced. The 2007 McCain-Kennedy amnesty contained the requirement to learn English. This is just standard language to fool and deceive. It is old wine in new bottles.
