Senator McConnell wasn't the only Republican who let us down. The bill passed with the support of 14 Republicans, including two conservatives who were backed by the Senate Conservatives Fund -- U.S. Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Jeff Flake (R-AZ).

Many of you have contacted us with questions about our polices in dealing with conservatives who pledge to do the right thing in the campaign, but later break their promises once they're elected. We thought it might be helpful to share these questions and our answers with everyone.

Q. Will my money be used to help senators who voted for amnesty? A. Absolutely not. SCF does not support the re-election of incumbent senators, period. Instead, SCF focuses its resources on electing new conservative leaders to the Senate each election.

Q. Will SCF oppose amnesty Republicans in 2014? A. Definitely. There are three incumbents up next year who supported the amnesty bill -- U.S. Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Lamar Alexander (R-TN), and Susan Collins (R-ME). If strong, conservative challengers emerge in these races, we will support them.

Q. Will SCF back primary challengers against former SCF candidates? A. That's always an option. We never rule out supporting conservative challengers in any race, even if they're running against a candidate SCF endorsed in a previous election.

Thankfully, the other six SCF-backed candidates opposed the amnesty bill -- U.S. Senators Pat Toomey (R-PA), Rand Paul (R-KY), Mike Lee (R-UT), Ron Johnson (R-WI), Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Deb Fischer (R-NE). Agree. eff ‘em all. We’ve been lied to by too many now. It’s time to shake ‘em all out, and start over. Flush the Congressional bowl clean of all the lyin’ excrement currently in D.C. We may have to pull that chain three to four times over the years to appropriately clean that bowl, but we have to get started.

There are many good conservatives in primaries. There are many conservatives in elections. Thee are two or three conservatives in Congress. Conservatism is but a ploy to get elected. After election the goal is to become rich which will happen in one term for someone who joins the Democrats after election. Such a one does not have to win his next election, though it would be nice. He is rich in two or six years and he is taken care of so that bad financial decisions will not impoverish him.

Why can't they be charged with fraud? Do these conservative groups have the candidates sign a statement of their campaign positions?

I can't believe more isn't being said about Flake and Ayotte.....what they did has nothing to do with the wishes of those who put them in office.
