I heard this one on CSPAN radio this morning from a DC reporter, that is all I know about it :
They said the house would/will vote on a number separate immigration bills individually such that its not one big circle j..k of bribes and deals as with comprehensive anything. Each one is judged on its own .
, each bill requiring a slim majority of Rs w enough Dems (almost equal) to pass, and we see how difficult that is to get.
Then anything that gets though that gets put into a single bill that goes to conference.
Bohner’s on public record assuring that he wont take a conference negotiated bill to House Dems to pass as with VAWA. I doubt he will backtrack on that, but that place is crazy so hopefully you wont find this comment again if he does HA-HA.
Did I mention that Ryan is a a$$whipe?? Today?? He always gave me that feeling I got when the Kerby vaccuum salesman did giving me the sales pitch, although Rubio is much more aggressive than him in sales for sure. really dangerous.
Excellent info SOL!
If McC and Goober are really that unpopular among the total House GOP membership, maybe we should call their offices telling them to keep it up:)
There is always the Law of Unintended Consequences though. If the media thinks that voters are backing them, they could make such a big deal of it that cowardly House members might take them seriously.
Exactly
However to try to launch a massive call in with an idea like that without them catching on would be tricky.
I will have to think about that a bit but I have an idea on this for some fun.
Hopefully their(McCain and Grahamesty) huge egos will do our work for us, that they will keep on going on Sundays shows pissing off house members.
It makes sense that to get Obama-amnesty-care Obama had to stay quiet while Rubio convinced us that Obama would hate the bill. Now that it is in the House's hands you can add McCain and Grahmnesty to that list of those Obama needs to shut up, since Bohner said he wont pass it without GOP votes.
One last point : Rubio is extremely likable in his performances. Likable and looking compassionate.
Conclude what you like from that, to many Republicans someone like him will be seen as the GOP Obama, someone who can dupe the critical 53%.
But can Rubio help Dems passing amnesty now after this?
That’s what I’m hoping for, no bill at all.
Simply enforce the laws we have on the books now.
Stiffer border protection...
Employer sanctions...
Interior enforcement...
