American taxpayers will be tremendously relieved to know that the U.S. government is hard at work trying to get official endangered status for ... the New Mexico meadow jumping mouse and the feds want to designate it a critical habitat protected under the Endangered Species Act, the 1973 law signed by President Richard Nixon to protect species from extinction as a consequence of economic growth and development untempered by adequate concern and conservation.
The federal governments list of more than 1,300 threatened or endangered species
...
The Service is proposing to designate around 14,561 acres of critical habitat along streams in a number of counties located in New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona

It's real, it's here, and it's going to confiscate all private property.

These endless federal land seizures of state and private land must not only end but be strongly turned back.
The feds control 84.5% of the state of Nevada. Is that enough for some endangered rat, or do they need to control the entire state?
They control more than half of Utah, Oregon and Idaho. For what? Endangered “prairie squid?” Much of the rest of the states in the West have already been taken.
HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH? I think the answer there is the same as for “How much of the land of Israel will the Palestinians settle for?”
The Paleos demand ALL of Israel as *theirs*. And a chunk at a time, the federals are *taking* all of the West as *theirs*.
ENOUGH! TOO MUCH! GIVE THAT LAND BACK!

Like some stupid fish in the canals that CA needs to irrigate the fields that GROW OUR FOOD?!?!? Traveling on northern I-5 there are lots of fields that have signs that read “congress created dust bowls”.
