Especially when a Bush appoints them.
I’m with you on this.
Yes, I remember.
There is something to be said for the change in some people when they start thinking about the impact of their rulings from the Supreme Court.
Sometimes they flip, thinking too much, and then getting it wrong.
” Especially when a Bush appoints them.”
Groan....correct. Bush never stops giving....

Obamacare alone is enough to damn Roberts. Obama is using it to terrorize us already, and it will get worse.

Best ex-president every, 5, 4, 3, 2...
I have even had folks tell me Bush was far better than Reagan.
Oui...
If SCOTUS says the plaintiffs lacked standing, does that mean that the 9th Circuit was wrong in ruling on the case at all - because there was no legal “case” there, for them to rule on?
Are Roberts and the liberals (I can’t bring myself to call them “justices”) saying that a homosexual who voted for Prop 8 is the only person with a vested interest in affirming the Constitutionality of the CA Constitution as amended by Prop 8?
I agree. That was such a moronic ruling. He had to go up to his elbow to retrieve the excuse for that one.

Really, why do we even have states any more? That's probably next on the agenda. Seems the oppression now takes a straight line from the federal government to the top of our heads with their big fascist boots. Might as well bypass the states since they don't seem to have any sovereignty any more. I sure hope Mark Levin's new book on the 17th amendment holds out some hope.
” I have even had folks tell me Bush was far better than Reagan.”
I know. Still around too.
A brilliant judge, ruling like a HS sophomore.
I’m having a hard time determining that. The reason I say so, is from that sort of a ruling the 9th Circuit Court’s ruling would be null and void, and Proposition 8 would stand.
Right now celebration is everywhere because homosexuals will now be able to marry, and on an equal footing with heterosexuals.
What’s worse, and I mean this, is that now K-12th grade schools will be trying to teach our kids that homosexual and heterosexual marriages are no different. Think that isn’t going to screw with their little heads?
Mom and dad say one thing, and the teacher tells the kids they’re bigots and worse...
I’m unreconstructed, too. If at first you don’t secede, try, try again....
Seems so to me.

Blackmail will get you whatever you want.
It is granted because the Constitution is supposed to uphold the “Laws of Nature and Nature’s God”. Laws have to support a system where our Natural Rights will exist which includes the Natural Right of a child to be raised by their biological parent.
The only “Duty” that human beings have (besides to themselves) is to their biological offspring. The system of Laws MUST support man (if just) to do their primary “Duty” in life.
Laws are divorced from Justice now-—and when laws cease to be Just—they cease to be law (Nuremberg Trial/MLK, jr).
Laws have to use Reason-—and homosexuality rejects all Reason and morality—and since Justice is a Virtue-—it makes promotion of such dysfunction and disease causing behavior unconstitutional.
Justice (reason for laws) is a Virtue. As such-—Socrates and all geniuses after him stated that governments/laws/schools have to promote Justice (Virtue).
Promoting Vice is simply unconstitutional and irrational law.
The aspirate Roberts does as he is told ... again.
