Kelly Ayotte is lucky to even be elected from NH. That state has turned blue. You do understand that the next senator in her place will be a democrat.

I’m not defending her and am very angry with her. She has hitched her political wagon to McCain and Graham, just like Rubio has. Pity she chose that path.

But I’m being a political realist. Her replacement would not be more conservative than she is and would not even be a Republican.

As to recalling a U.S. Senator, it’s my understanding that in federal elections recall is not legally possible. He or she occupies a federal office. So you can gin up a recall petition against a senator if you want to, but since it isn’t legally enforcible it would not result in their removal.

NH doesnt want the McCain war machine.

NH votes conservative in midterms with 40% turnout. The conservative lost the primary 37-38 to Ayotte. If it is a special election they will vote conservative.

Democrat voters in NH don’t want this amnesty.

Obama on the ballot made a difference.
