Sarah Palin just used Pelosi as a verb today And we all know what she meant.
The former governor says the US Senate is trying to Pelosi through their amnesty bill. From her Facebook page:
Just like they did with Obamacare, some in Congress intend to Pelosi the amnesty bill. Theyll pass it in order to find out whats in it. And just like the unpopular, unaffordable Obamacare disaster, this pandering, rewarding-the-rule-breakers, still-no-border-security, special-interests-ridden, 24-lb disaster of a bill is not supported by informed Americans.
I am an ardent supporter of legal immigration. Im proud that our country is so desirable that it has been a melting pot making a diverse people united as the most exceptional nation on earth for over two centuries. But I join every American with an ounce of common sense insisting that any discussion about immigration must center on a secure border. The amnesty bill before the Senate is completely toothless on border security.
Its beyond disingenuous for anyone to claim that a vote for this bill is a vote for security. Look no further than the fact that Senator Rubio and amnesty supporters nixed Senator Thunes amendment that required the feds to finally build part of a needed security fence before moving forward on the status of illegal immigrants whove already broken the law to be here. And if shooting down the border fence wasnt proof enough, they blew another chance by killing Senator Pauls Trust But Verify amendment which required the completion of a fence in five years and required Congress to vote on whether the border is actually secure before furthering any immigration measures. And then they blew it yet again, nixing Senator Cornyns Results amendment, which also required border enforcement standards.(continued)

“peloski” could be the word for a whole bunch of verbs but yes, we all know what she means. Very effective, just like “nifong”.
getting “rubioed” could be another.
Ha! Great... “Pelosi” will become the “Lewinski” of Congress!!
Yup...just arbitratily and recklessly ram the BS legislation through, we’ll find out LATER what is in it!?? AS IF that worked out so wonderfully well with Obama’s ‘Health Care Reform’ monstrosity!!
I love her “Pelosi” as a verb usage.
I love her attacks on the bill.
My only quibble is that the amendments that were shot down that supposedly dealt with border security were themselves not answers to what is wrong, either with the bill or with the people that are jamming this down our throats to the destruction of America’s “little people”.
She mentions each of them and their sponsors, that went down in flames, saying their failure proved this bill isn’t about border security at all.
Correct, but even if they had passed, each was a very flawed vehicle when faced with the reality of what was in this bill and who is forcing this bill on us and why they are doing this to us.
Sarah’s got it right! Unfortunately for the rest of us what Pelosi did with the odumbocare bill WILL work for the amnesty bill as well. There is no one strong enough to stop it in its tracks. The nation has elected the biggest group of losers to the Senate and Congress this once great nation has ever seen.
Nice to see she’s at least getting this right on immigration. I really haven’t figured out where she stands overall though.
Really?
“”I really haven’t figured out where she stands overall though.” Really?”
Has she stated where she stands on a fence/wall, or deporting those here illegally, or pathway to citizenship? If so, let me know, as I don’t project things on to people - I base my opinions on their public records.
Ping for reference
Someone should bury an amendment in the bill requiring all (D) senators to resign once the bill is passed. They’re not going to read it anyway and will find out afterward they are out of a job.
The next batch will learn to READ THE DAMN BILL.
Sorry, I misinterpreted your comment. I thought you were talking about her stand on other issues beside immigration. I’m sure, though that you could find her thoughts and position on those matters you mentioned.
No prob, and yes, I should have been more clear. Thanks for getting back...but I’ve been watching for something strong, since 2008, and nothing much yet.
