Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.. the Supreme Court sent the University of Texas' affirmative action program back for a lower court for review by a vote of 7-1.
Justice Clarence Thomas concurred in that decision but also wrote a scathing concurring opinion saying he would have rejected Texas' affirmative action program outright as unconstitutional.

The Constitution does not pander to faddish theories about whether race mixing is in the public interest. The Equal Protection Clause strips States of all authority to use race as a factor in providing education. All applicants must be treated equally under the law, and no benefit in the eye of the beholder can justify racial discrimination.

I have searched diligently for empirical, peer-reviewed confirmation of the “benefits” derived from “diversity.”

Maybe I’m looking in the wrong places.
I greatly admire Justice Thomas. He knows that he is hated by members of his own race and denounced as an Uncle Tom for doing nothing more than thinking independently, fairly, and correctly. It takes a lot of integrity to stand up for what’s right in the face of such attacks.
Every western nation has a version of victim advocacy and all claim that it is beneficial to the culture.

Uncle Tom was a good guy and a hero. He stands up for what he believes in. He’s a committed Christian. His nobility is such that even his enemies admire him, however grudgingly.
Is it any wonder that the Left has derided him and cursed his name with lies?
Do you think for a minute that the race-baiters would want another Booker T. Washington to arise as a black leader?
