Climbers may need to start carrying AK's and RPG's, along with their climbing equipment. What's more likely, given the exorbitant fees charged by the Pakistani government, is that expeditions will now include armed Pakistani guards seconded from the army.

Typical Muslim terrorist thinking. Angry at Obama for playing games with drones? Just kill ten people at random.
Tourists? We don’t need no stinking tourists. It’s much more fun killing them than just taking their money.

Not for nothing but any person (moron) who chooses to “visit” these Taliban occupied countries ought to have their heads examined. Play with fire you’re gonna get burned!

The Taliban per se is not our enemy.
- Joe Biden
I’ll agree with Joe. The Taliban is the enemy of all civilized people, not just of America. Only a moron or a traitor would negotiate with them, but unfortunately America has Biden and Obama in position to fill those roles.

Maybe 12 or so years ago there was a group of climbers in one of the “stan” countries that were captured by the Taliban and managed to escape after throwing a guard off a cliff.
There’s a good story about it online somewhere, don’t recall where.

...include armed Pakistani guards seconded from the army. They're as likely as not to join the Taliban (Tahleybahn in the Bamster's parlance)in gunning down foreigners.

Gunmen stormed a camp on Pakistans second-largest mountain Sunday, killing nine foreign climbers, including a U.S. citizen, in a brazen assault that could deal a blow to the countrys efforts to jumpstart its tourism industry. WTF!!!??? You GOT to be kidding me. I've never heard such a ........wait......ohhhhh.....I get it. The Washington Post is doing satire now.
Curse you, WaPo! You got me good on this one.
