There goes that whole “he was a Chinese spy all along” theory, I’m thinking. If he was a PRC asset they’d have never let him go.
Quite true. But the real mystery for me is why the Chinese didn't delay him long enough for a little interrogation and a quick copy of that Thumb Drive.
Or maybe they did and we just didn't hear about it.
In any case, it is clear that the Chinese decided that it was in their best interest to see him out of Hong Kong.
Yep. The fedgov supporters will need to come up with a new line.
All the whizzle he blew was that they’re spying on everyone. The entire world already knew that the NSA was spying on them, the only real news was that:
a) The NSA is also spying on the american people
b) The NSA uses the british MI5 to open a huge legal loop hole for spying on americans
The reaction by the RINOs and the DIMs in DC on the NSA and IRS issues unveils that there is absolute NO opposition to keep the excessive federal government under control.
Something has gone horrible wrong with the US when conservatives have to team up with the ACLU to preserve and protect the constitution.
The ones kept in the dark have been the average liberal and moderate “low information” citizens. If Snowden’s actions help to awaken this demographic and they take an interest there is a very small chance that something will be done. This is also a bit of a litmus test for our politicians. The ones who roll over and do nothing will be exposed for the cowards that they are.
