I've not been a great fan of Glenn Beck lately, though I was when he had his TV show. When I watched him on TV, I generally overlooked his minor shortcomings in favor of his timely and revelatory messages.
Therefore, during his speech today, I was rather surprised by the fact that I became intensely riveted to his words.
He delivered flawlessly a strong, manly speech. I also noticed that his speech was very intellectual, not lightweight as is sometimes the norm in these types of rallies.
In fact, I noticed he was way in front of the crowd in some of his many incisive phrases and thoughts....all speakers had to hurry so much that many of Beck's cerebral ideas could not be caught and digested by the crowd in time for the approving reactions and hand-clapping they deserved.
I'm sure the folks will somehow find a transcript....I, myself, would like to study his words in a more leisurely and quiet way. There's some amazingly good stuff in there that got lost and buried under the pressures of time.
I carefully watched the audience during Glenn's speech. Like me, they appeared riveted also, you could almost hear a pin drop in that vast crowd, their eyes remained almost glued on him during the entire length of his longish message.
To sum up, his remarks had all the earmarks of a great speech. The sometimes zany and emotional patriot of yesterday seemed to me to be totally mature, serious and controlled today, more so than I've ever seen him or expected him to be.
I'm thrilled to death that he rose to and above the occasion today, delivering what I consider to be the most weighty and important oration of the day.

Will you please add me to your ping list?

I agree, friend!
I want to see the youtube of this speech
Very well said.
His words are what one might expect to read in the history books of our time.... Yes, I was impressed.
Our spiritual body is out of shape and we need intensive training right now.
His radio show with Pat and Stu can still be zany, but his OWN TV show The Blaze TV is VERY informative. It is now available on Dish and several cable networks for $9.00 a month. Also on the Internet. He owns the TV network lock stock and barrel so he is beholding to no one. He does need our support though.
