My sister-in-law is vegetarian, although she does eat meat at family functions to be appeasing. (I still try to make something for her anyway) Her 11 year old daughter craves meat and looks forward to seeing her other Uncle and I. That kid can really put away some meat. I really think there is something to your theory.

When are businesses going to ignore the whiners and stick to their guns? Because anti-gun Red Robin doesn't have any guns to stick to.

I like Red Robin, and not for their salads.

I went to a burger joint and the young 20 something waitress asked my how I wanted my burger cooked. I told her, Just walk it out here and I’ll take it from there.” I thought she was gonna hurl. She was not even slightly amused. Tough to be a non-meat eater at a meat establishment.
To: grundle
Have you ever been to a meal where a few of the people are vegetarian, and they go through this, “There’s nothing we can eat, but it’s okay!” routine?
I’ve gone through periods where I didn’t eat meat. I could always find something.

I think the writers of these kinds of articles go looking to find people who are offended. Or invent them.

As someone once said: “If we’re not supposed to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?”
To: DoughtyOne
My argument is thus; I live a few years longer by depriving myself of meat?
Life is about quality, not quantity.

OFFENDED over WHAT?
An example of journalism trolling for anyone wanting to feel offended with a BAIT ARTICLE.
To: grundle
**sigh** The word "outrage" needs to be stricken from the journalistic diet.

a phase is obviously meant to insult both vegans Vegans should be insulted. Repeatedly and loudly.
Veganism is a stupid, unnatural, unhealthy and hypocritical way of being a jerk.
Vegetarians I understand but vegans are crazy.

Liberal vegetarian types (not you) don’t have much of a sense of humor, anyway. Some good juicy red meat might help improve their outlook.
