I can’t criticize because I don’t know what he had working behind the scenes.
While I understand your “get it out there” mentality.. as someone who has worked in the media.. you have to understand these things don’t always just come together in an instant.
Did he jump the gun talking about the whistle blower? Perhaps. But that doesn’t damage his cred in my eyes one tiny bit.
This whistleblower could be killed and their family could be killed. They are being VERY careful about how they approach this I am sure.
He’s doing more than any of the keyboard commandos here on FR that’s for sure!

In that case one should refrain from going on a nationally syndicated radio program and announcing that one has earth shttering news that will divide the country and change all our lives until one has seen that things have come together. To do otherwise is to open oneself to the charges that are justly being laid at Beck's feet. He does this all the time. It's his modus operandi and it's very tiresome.
I don't think Beck will ever, ever report the story he was hyping last week because it was just hype. He needed a ratings bump and he got it. Good for him.
if the whistleblower could genuinely be murdered, and it’s still a work in progress, you don’t say you’re working with a whistleblower just to make the show more exciting. plain and simple.
