The democraps are going to save a TON of money this year, they just have to sit back and watch the GOP defeat itself
Boehner — when will you learn that for a Republican, bi-partisan simply means that the democrats get what they want.
Our leadership speaks.
Somebody needs to clue Tammy Faye in that in polls immigration reform is way down the list of Hispanic priorities just as it is for the rest of us. Most people want a job.
The House Republicans will break. Enough of these idiots will vote for the bill. This one will probably have more surprises than Obamacare.
Impeach the bum.
Border Security only takes place when you enforce the laws on the books.
We don’t do that now, so why should we think we’ll do so when new laws are passed.
This is about as pathetic as it gets.
This statement from Boehner is solid if he actually lives up to it. My preference is that border security be a separate bill all by itself that is passed prior to any other bill dealing with immigration. In fact, I think EVERY bill out of congress should be single focused. It also should be limited in size and scope.
If he's serious about majority GOP support, then those of us with GOP representatives should be writing them often about border security, visa control, visitor control, and ZERO access to social services until any newly naturalized citizen has paid taxes, social security and medicare for at least 2 decades. (Obviously, NEVER for any worker status or visa holder.)
Write your Representatives.
From the mouth of a traitor that would just as soon see us all hang.

If Boner has his way, the democrats get their permanent majority and the country and its taxpayers are forever screwed. Great plan.
Border Security ,would that be keeping people in or out
Yeah, yeah. And then it goes to conference and Shumer’s bill is the result. Nice try, John!
He’s lying, as usual.
A border fence was passed into law in 2006, then was subsequently gutted and defunded. Border security is a red herring to get amnesty passed!

I can’t see a MAJORITY of Reps in the House voting for an amnesty bill. If the test is that a majority of Reps must be in favor, then the chances of a bill passing are slim to none. The only caveat is if Boehner changes his mind and allows a bill to come to the floor that does not have GOP majority support.
Sounds like a win-winif enough GOP Congressmen and Senators run on protecting America's borders from terrorists, gangsters, and bankruptcy.
I do like that characterization - this is the kind of direct rhetoric that is needed.
My preference too. Or...they can add to the conservative wish list on such a bill with amendments to our liking: For instance, require voter registration to include a birth certificate (in response to the latest USSC ruling); schools to require birth certificate on registration or else the parent/guardian pays for the "free" public school to the local school board (liberals have got to love the new source of money); require illegal aliens to pay for their emergency room visits (yes, we will treat them, but they will pay for it); immediate deportation upon completing a sentence of any kind of law violation (can we tattoo their foreheads?); etc.
