A Cruz statement from The Blaze last week:

“If it is the case that the federal government is seizing millions of personal records about law-abiding citizens, and if it is the case that there are minimal restrictions on accessing or reviewing those records, then I think Mr. Snowden has done a considerable public service by bringing it to light.”

What happened?

I don’t know. This statement is something I could easily identify with. The new one is one I would shy away from. No way.

“What happened?”

The Obama Administration showed Ted Cruz what they got on him. That’s what.

“If this is the case”... “if”... all Ted said was let’s see IF they are guilty or not and not judge them until we have proof.

I am not a Senator but I do understand that we need to find the truth and investigations are underway. I suspect that the NSA is guilty as charged... but I cannot prove it.

Ted Cruz was talking to some of the Big Government GOP types so I think he tried to speak their language. He framed the argument to show how Obama is abusing the system rather than pointing out that its a gross violation of privacy and of the Constitution. Those Big Government GOP types support destroying the Constitution in the hopes that the U.S. might catch a few potential terrorists.

Blackmail? It looks to me and sounds to me like it.

Last night, Trey Gowdy sounded like he had been lobotomized. He said that Congress is powerless and has no power of prosecution. He said the public needs to pressure the white hut and DOJ to do something because congress can’t. What?

Cruz now sounding soft.

What else? Who else? The investigation(s) are falling apart. The aggression has ended. Things have become muddled and the sheeple, with the attention of a ferret, have become bored with it all.

“What happened?” The scent of power. These elites are arguing over, who holds the tail, while the cat gets screwed. It’s a Gov’t union vs Union gov’t. The cat is still getting well screwed. Guess who the cat is?

Why does anything have to have changed? There's no real conflict between the two statements.

Cruz is saying "if this happened" and also saying "let's see what really happened" ... like an adult.
