wierd, we have the left claiming he was a highly skilled hacker, whiel the right liek bolton, and rove and others claiming he was a no talent unsophisticated traitor/loser

Seems to me BOTH sides want to discredit him- perhaps they are scared he’s got soemthign on them too?

Both sides want to discredit Snowden because he has opened the door to the massive bipartisan collusion in dissolving every citizen's right to privacy. I like Cheney but his hawkish posture on security after 9/11 leads me to believe he supported this wholeheartedly.

Much as we would like to pin this on the Usurper regime, Bush started it. Since the claim of "treasonous" damage to security is laughable and unsupported by any evidence, the opposition to and demonization of Snowden can only be due to political anxiety on both sides of the aisle.
