The only US military action I could find acceptable in this conflict would be an airstrike on chemical weapon depots. ABSOLUTELY nothing more. Hit the ammo dump, use standoff PGM’s on nearby air defences, and finish the dump off with some Mk77 napalm ordnance (burn off as much of the nerve gas as possible.)
But would you expect it to be executed right with Obungle calling the shots?
Beyond hitting the chemical weapons depots, and maybe positioning humanitarian aid at the borders, I say let them kill each other unless one side has had an undisputably clear “Come to Jesus” moment (which is unlikely, however, He could decide otherwise). Both sides are evil, and neither is worth backing (a lesson we have not learned from recent events in Libya).

‘Putin’s on a leash’ though he doesn’t know it....and can only go so far....what we’re seeing is a leader enjoying putting Obama in his place....in full view of the audiance. Kinda looks like a cat playing with a mouse.
