I expected better things from Cheney, but he just laughed off concerns about NSA snooping and said we should just “trust” the government! WHAT?

Bush and Cheney started this mess. 0bama took the ball they handed him and ran with it.

Third party, anyone?

Hilarious Dim hypocrisy example.

Any candidate who has a D after his/her name will win. Hillary will probably be helped if she comes out of the closet. Another first. Not only our first woman President, but also, our first gay President, at least openly gay. Obama may try to claim that title for himself after he leaves office.

Christie is up 40 points over his opponent in the NJ governor's race. He'll probably run as Hillary's VP.

Cheney also called the Snowden fellow a traitor. I don’t know the full story of that young man but I am holding off until I hear it all. I found it off-putting that first thing Cheney says sort of aligns him with the Obama crowd.

You line up with Judge Janine last night, myself and many others who are simply not sure who Snowden really is.

I think its waaay too early to call out whether or not Snowden is a traitor, hero or something in-between.

Last night Judge Janine on FNC had another whistle blower on who also told on the NSA and was also savaged by once again the ozero regime. Even though he was telling on abuses under the Bush Presidency.

So go figure.

It appears that anyone who does not bow to the alter of chicago thuggery is in deep trouble with the current regime. Its just how they play the game.

What we are seeing in Istanbul is a clash between Western oriented secularists versus Islamic fundamentalists. We should be supporting the demonstrators not Erdogan who wants to take Turkey backwards.

Absolutely. These people aren't taking forced burka-wearing lightly. Yes, we should be supporting them!

But we are not cause nothing in it for Obama.

They are bound and determined to pass this “immigration” law.

By me this is a blue blood GOP effort. Rubio joined in because he was seduced by the political elite members of the GOP.

I despise everything about that immigration law.

and it could because we passed an alleged “comprehensive immigration law” once before. Then we granted amnesty to 6 million illegals and were told that the borders would be sealed, that this would not happen again.

Heh.

So now we don’t believe them and WE are the bad guys?

The political elite, the blue blood GOP....put Jeb Bush and his fertile immigrants right in that category.

I predict massive backlash if they pass any kind of stupid immigration bill BEFORE securing borders and setting up decent systems to monitor illegals.

They won’t.

Of the progressives and Democrats I know, not one is upset with the IRS or NSA. They all believe the end justifies the means and they are intent on using the power they have to force their will on the rest of us.

IIRC, it began with smoking laws and taxes on tobacco. Once established they expanded government reach into other areas of our lives: light bulbs and low flush toilets, etc.

Maxine Waters let the cat out of the bag this month when she bragged about the Democrats database of voter information and that it would be available to Democrat candidates.

In Denver alone I know for a fact they can sort the information they have by blocks in neighborhoods, by R’s, D’s and I’s and by issue and voting patterns. Also by race or any other sort item within that database. It just depends on the algorithm query they want to use.

It’s all done with the end justifying the means.

Yeah the administration straightened out the ring problem all right! They told pootie he could keep the ring after he stole it!!Looks like zero definitely has more flexibility now that he got reelected.

As a former Merrylander, and not proud of it....here’s how they do in blue states sometimes.

They can easily elect a Democrat. A little poll maneuvering and money changes hands and boom, some dolt Dem gets in....like O’Malley.

The Dems in power give the public unions all kinds of money until they almost break the bank.

THEN the Dems help a Republican get elected, like Ehrlich in Merryland and Christy in NJ.

The Repub comes in, cleans house, caps union wages, deals with them like the Dems know they need but can’t do for political expediency.

THEN that same Repub either turns Dem or, boom, is wiped out of office next time.

That’s the story with Christy.

I predict he will turn Democrat come time to run for Prez, he will lose lots of weight as that’s always a public relations hit.

This is another bill that we must pass to learn what is in it. This bill will make the Dems the permanent majority party and it will destroy this country with the stroke of a pen.

Agreed, rodguy. We have a failure in the media/press to report news that might upset the balance of power that favors the Democrats and an ever expanding government.

Excellent post.

I got an e-mail a week ago showing OBl in the 70's with 14 of his closest friends probably in the USA as he was educated here.

They were all wearing brightly colored hippie clothes and there was not even a hint of anything muslim/islamist. ,p> Fast forward years later and see what saudi(no caps necessary) money and the butt of a rifle will do to the mid-east and now around the world.

Islam is a scary cult. we should never forget what it is really all about.

Your post is true.

So why, Kabar and all.....does Lindsay, Rubio, et al, want this thing?

Rush Limbaugh asks the same thing.

Why do the Repubs, who have the most to lose with this thing, WANT IT?

We have no business in Syria.

Well I generally agree with that, including boots on the ground in virtually any moslem hot-spot....BUT!...

Fishtalk: I don’t know what to make of Syria, Bray. A well-placed bomb would put an end to that.

We fab up awesome hardware which can generally, or specifically, do a lot of needed "corrections" from 20,000 feet. A basic concept I think Clinton had right (except where he applied it).

“Even Cheney is old news by now,”

Some interesting points about Mr. Cheney.
1. during Nixon’s first term Mr. Chaney was responsible for the regime’s Price Controls over-site committee - 3000 IRS comrades responsible for stifling America’s businesses.

2. Mr. Cheney as well as most republicans have no issues with the over reach that is the Patriot Act. Whom are they protecting? The Elites, like themselves?

3. Mr. Cheney does not like Mr. Obama, oh well. But Mr. Cheney (loves?) has great respect for the people Mr. Obama employes at the NSA.

Big G’ment by Republicans or Democrats - what is the difference? I see no honer amongst these thieves. And yes there are always a few exceptions - Ted Cruz comes to mind

Ironically, no one pays any attention to what immigration policy should be.It should be only something that helps the US!! Not costs us!

We have laws that protect Cuban refugees from the tyranny that is the Castro rule in Cuba.

That's the way things should be. If you live under a communist regime where people are under threat of a gun 24/7 and you can escape, we should be a bastion of freedom for those who can get here under those circumstances. Illegal immigration that way is correct and the way our forefathers had envisioned the country.

Allowing anyone who can cross our border since they want to smuggle drugs, engage in terrorism or just make a fatter buck is sheer folly.

This is illegal entry and should have been stopped years ago.!!

The world had 7 billion citizens. Perhaps two billion would live here if they could.

How do we deny the best and brightest of even a minuscule percentage of these citizens US citizenship while allowing border crossers amnesty?

Its an insane policy and no one is talking about it.!!!
