Brilliantly displayed. It is a policy of self destruction long range.

I visit the Madison project every so often. They rate Republicans based on the level of the representative’s electoral base. My U.S. Rep. John Culberson who is a big Poo Bah on the Appropriations committee received a low score for 2011 because his district is very conservative. They are upping his score so far this year.

I am guessing that this may be due to the local radio (Michael Berry) looking to support primary challengers for a number of republican Senate & House elections this time around.

The elites are in it for themselves, this is nothing new. Every now and then we do win - Reagen, Gramm, Cruz

Do we go third party or do we find ans support primary challengers? That is the question I need to answer for the next primary season in March

Quite frankly I don't trust any govt. to make the right choice when they have the capability of surveling almost anyone anywhere, anytime. My guess is they will and apologize later.

For my money I would much rather have Col. Anthony Shaffer running the surveillance dept. than the current regime.

Go to www.cis.org It is a treasure trove of information on immigration. I work with the folks there who are very well qualified and knowledgeable. Once you get actual facts based on official USG data, it becomes readily apparent that the other side relies on emotion to sway the public. But we have the facts on our side. Immigration is the defining issue our time.

I'm convinced that a third party would ultimately suffer the same problems the pubbies have now. It's just a matter of how long it took.

The only answer I see is to keep kicking their asses over and over every time they screw up. Yell at them here, donate only to individual candidates, do stuff that really gets their attention.

1. during Nixon’s first term Mr. Chaney was responsible for the regime’s Price Controls over-site committee - 3000 IRS comrades responsible for stifling America’s businesses.

As I pointed out upthread somewhere. I was one who was "punished" by not getting some raises I deserved because....well I don't know why. Why on earth did a Republican admin get caught up with something like gubmint controlling wages and prices? There was something to all that and it didn't last long. But it happened, and it happened by a Republican prez and now I know Cheney got involved in that nonsense? My ageing memory recalls a national uproar over union wages if I remember, something like that. And I DID belong to a union at the time.

It was all PR, that compromise mentality, that minority stand the pubs always take.

Those blue blood elites do so hate us for pointing out the truth cause again, why are the pubs in favor OF immigration reform? Such a law will make the entire country another California, with never a Repub in power again.

Why would a Repub be in favor of that?

Because after they plan on becoming a Dem....or maybe the political class will bond and become a new party....Political Elite....something like that.

Somehow, some way, at some point to be determined by the common sense of the people, I don't believe we will be dominated by a political elite, even with the dummy lo-fo voters we have out here. Which reminds, man have I got a lo-fo voter story for y'all.

I think we, we who carry this country on our backs, we who abide by laws and quietly seek a good life, we who have, get this, ALL the creativity and dreams which the political elite have none....I predict that we will one day quietly rise up to the surprise of the entire world.

Don't know how but not for a moment will we whoever we are and we'll know who we are when time comes, will settle for domination by a bunch of turds whose only claim to fame is they managed to get elected.

Patriots’ owner Kraft showed Putin his Superbowl ring. Putin tried it on and said “I could kill comeone with this.” Putin then dropped it in his pocket. [Probably lost in translation is Putin reasonably thought it was a gift]. Kraft was a little befuddled and 3 KGB goons surrounded Putin and they all left. Kraft did not really ask for ring back. Later, when he started squawking about it he said the White House called him and asked him to let it ride. So then Kraft agreed it was a gift. Now he is out givnng a speech and tells the “story” about how Putin “stole” his ring. Maybe the WH will give him another visit?

Or media is digging up dirt on Kraft because he had the temerity of hiring Tebow and saying he likes the kid’s “spirituality”. Like throwing Holy water on the P_resident...

Right. And remember that Napolitano and Homeland Security seem more concerned about "right wing" terrorists than the left or Islamists. When the government believes that the Tea Parties are comprised of extremists and the Dems condemn them as racists and like the Taliban while at the same time extolling groups like OWS, then we have a real problem. Obama has repeatedly attacked the Tea Party.

So it is quite conceivable that those who control the levers of power will turn the guns of these surveillance programs on the Tea Party and their political opponents. And the example of the IRS, FBI, DOJ, ATF, and EPA working together to target individuals and groups is a reality. Scary stuff.

It is scary stuff indeed.

Here’s my lo-fo voter story. It’s my niece. Since the loss of my husband my dysfunctional family has made an attempt, with no expeerience whatsoever, to get closer. Thus my niece, I’ll call Tina, starts to phone me up regularly, every other day perhaps.

In addition she came up here from Merryland to do some sales tax free shopping thanks to O’Malley, she lives on the eastern shore. It’s about a 45 minutes drive and she arranged to meet me at a local restaurant. She paid for it and I had a lovely time.

I love the kid is what I’m saying, always have, but issues with my sister have caused rifts. I am quite enjoying our re-uniting.

Tina’s a flaming liberal and worse, she lives with some old guy, blazing liberal, so can’t stand that stupid man I had to UNFRIEND him on Facebook.

At some point this would become an issue, I knew it. Recently, it became an issue and I did not handle it well.

I am guilty of baiting, let me confess. I baited because I really had hopes of converting Tina, was full of myself that, mistress of the typed word, not bad with the verbal word, could make this well-intentioned quite kind woman see the light. So to speak.

I deliberately mentioned Rush Limbaugh and before I knew it she went on a tangent (not a rant...her tone was civil, but she was on a roll) about Tea Party types who are nasty and want to blow up the world, she’s on to us....

So I hung up on her.

Sheesh.

There’s only one, single, solitary solution here. Yes I want this person in my life. So I must NEVER go near politics when in her presence....this is how they shut us up, folks.

No, Tina doesn’t have the wherewithal or evil malice to shut me up; it’s a bit cavalier to accuse her of such. She is just one of many who simply do not want to hear the truth, they like their version of reality.

I’m flummoxed.

With enough information, they target a voter over specific issues based on that information. They can avoid or spin bad issues and stress issues where a voter would be persuadable on or who’s opinions align close enough to the Democrats position.

They are calling Snowden a traitor to deflect attention from what THEY are doing.

I actually have a very low opinion of Snowden. But he doesn’t matter. He could be a saint, or he could be the devil, and it won’t change the fact that the NSA is violating the Constitution.

One of the options for this Lo. Info. problem is to Home School. The kids get an education, they learn to think for themselves and they interact better at all ages with people of all ages.

The home school population in the country is increasing steadily.

Just saw a bit from Rubio, he sez the law he's pushing needs tighter border control. Hmm. Didn't he just help vote down an amendment to do that? He's saying one thing to English-speaking audiences, another to Spanish-speaking audiences and then voting yet another thing (closer to the Spanish version than the English version, so we know who he's lying to)? No matter what Rubio does now, he's screwing himself because he's a known liar.

He needs to learn the lesson about hole digging.

Marco, leave this "Gang of Eight" and promise to never join another "Gang." Show you understand the purpose of any "Gang" in the Senate is to provide mutual cover for doing something your constituents don't want. Spend the next 10 years proving it. Then maybe I'll start to believe you a little.
