I think the original plan over Benghazi was weapons procurement and shipping....but somewhere in this mix...I think the deal went wrong. Someone shifted it from weapons to pay-back, and in an hour or two...it’s turned into a four-star mess.
I think once the President realized that the deal was lost and his friendly dealer wasn’t friendly....the President just walked out of the room.
The lack of executive experience probably shows. Most real executives would have looked at the developing mess...made sure his employees were safe, and chalked it up to a bad plan. In this case...there’s nothing you can admit in public, and the lack of experience shows.

After 9/11 I was amazed, then angered, that GWB waited and waited and waited. Then, instead of blasting the Saudis out of their bunks, he attacked Iraq.
There shouldn’t have been ground troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. Afghanistan should have been bombed, along with Saudi Arabia. That would have been sending them a message. It is an unholy reason that American presidents want to be engaged in conflicts far from America. We can’t even defend our nation against the Mexican hordes that stream over our borders and lap up all the gravy.
America has deserved better leadership since 1911 and got a taste of it in Calvin Cooledge and Ronald Reagan. All those others were internationalist, progressive fools.
When one considers the hundreds of thousands of America’s youth that lie in graves throughout the world who were thinking they’re dying for the American way and freedom then look who’s sitting in the oval office today, it makes one want to scream!

In fact, as long as we’re looking we should take a look at ALL the female senators and examine the growth of their wealth since they were elected. Those two Maine beauties are another example of enrichment of spouses due to positions to which they were elected.

U.S. weapons.
A U.S. soldier on the range with an M-16 assault rifle.
The Interior Ministry said thieves broke into a warehouse and stole a
huge amount of firearms and ammunition. The ministry said 20,000 U.S.-origin M-16 assault rifles and 15,000 rounds for 9mm pistols were stolen.
“There were no guards during the break-in,” the ministry said on April
7.
The ministry said the target was a warehouse of the Interior Ministry in
Subiya, Middle East Newsline reported. The statement said thieves broke three doors and removed the entire contents of the warehouse.
Kuwait has been a major defense client of the United States. The U.S.
military has stationed some 13,000 troops, most of them assigned to
logistics, to the Gulf Cooperation Council sheikdom.
