There shouldn’t have been ground troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. Afghanistan should have been bombed, along with Saudi Arabia. That would have been sending them a message. It is an unholy reason that American presidents want to be engaged in conflicts far from America. We can’t even defend our nation against the Mexican hordes that stream over our borders and lap up all the gravy.
America has deserved better leadership since 1911 and got a taste of it in Calvin Cooledge and Ronald Reagan. All those others were internationalist, progressive fools.
When one considers the hundreds of thousands of America’s youth that lie in graves throughout the world who were thinking they’re dying for the American way and freedom then look who’s sitting in the oval office today, it makes one want to scream!
