Rubio has one set of lies for Univision and another set of lies for Hannity.I'm afraid he's not lying to Univision.

THAT is your line in the sand when there is virtually NOTHING in the bill to find the illegals and throw out the criminals?

Rubio is a really nice guy, and, uh....I don’t think he’s ready for prime-time.
Strike that —I don’t think he’s actually a conservative. I love Rush, but not enough 2b suckered by Rubio.
I don’t care HOW much Rush loves him, sorry.
Rubio is already “growing in office” and from here on out it’s only going to get much, much worse.

No matter. If that’s included, Portman will jump aboard.

Marco really stepped on his future....
He has already calculated that his future does not include you, or any of us for that matter.

Marco would not made a good president. Hes too immature.
I used to think that he just needed more 'wax the car, paint the fence' time but now I see him as a slick and slithery politician who, if voted out of office, will find his calling on a used car lot somewhere.

Just remember folks - Rubio is in the senate seat until 2017

How about we let *only* gays have amnesty?
I’ll gladly take 5% legalization over 95%.

Was he lying to Univision or to all of his supporters that believed in him when he said that border security would come first. That’s pretty bad right there for him. This entire immigration and war on terror ties together. They can look at our records/data though they leave the border open so all of these potential terrorists who can come in. I guess that’s what they mean when they are looking for suspicious activity. It’s so backwards. They are acting like liberals. Secure the border. Protect our rights. A lot of people had high hopes for him. Someone wanted him damaged; he took the bait at the high level- did it to himself though. Bad to be caught in a lie.
To: Sub-Driver
He’s been threatening to vote against this bill, “if this, if that”, since January. He threatened to back out of support if the border wasn’t secured first. Guess what, today he voted against an ammendment to secure to border. This guy draws a new line in the sand everyday and lies during every interview. Time to throw him out of elected office asap.

Maybe Rubio is looking for an escape hatch.

Question for our 2 darling Cuban Senators:
Why are you two trying to become national figures?
Neither of you is a Natural Born Citizen.
Isn't a chance at conservative leadership in the Senate
Good enough for you?

Sounds like Rubio is looking for a way out of this disaster. What did he expect getting in to bed with Schmuckie Schumer?

said he will revoke his support if an amendment is added that allows gay unauthorized immigrants to claim foreign same-sex partners as family. He is losing whatever libertarian support that he was gaining with amnesty.

Rube’s immaturity is a real problem, indeed so serious as to disqualify him as a potential president. It strikes me that he’s a very ambitious young man who got carried away with his great initial success and decided to to lead on this issue. In the process the immensely slick shyster Schumer latched onto him, flattered him, and sucked him into this disastrous sponsorship. Indeed, Schumer even managed disastrously to compromise Rube as a potential Republican presidential candidate and Republican leader.
To: ilgipper
You're right, but Rubio may be realizing he really can't continue supporting this. If the gay issue gives him cover when he backs out, so be it. I'd be happy about anything that derailed this legislation.
