There is a poll on a local radio station here which asks which is more dangerous, muslim extremists or the government. Last I checked 96% said the government.

The question here is whether or not we are in a war ~ many of us understand that the Cold War has echoes and AlQaida and other Caliphate irredentists have decided to attack us first. Some imagine that the irredentists who wish to recreate the Islamic Caliphate (or maybe just the Ottoman Empire) are simply responding to our attacks on them.
That's a fairly big difference in outlook.
This division is not likely to be overcome in a short period of time.

Three things fur shur in this debate. Ron Paul is senile and the Libertarians are as politically bankrupt today as they've ever been. Then, second thing, Snowden is probably mentally ill and he's been played by people who didn't have his best interest at heart. And third, today's enemies are technologically advanced and highly sophisticated and we need to keep tabs on them ~ by finding them where they hide.
