As I recall Alan Keyes campaign workers were also detained by Chicago cops when Keyes stepped in to run against Obama.

Actually, that's not what anybody said. The question concerned foreign versus American origin calls ~ but what you are all forgetting is that eventually ALL scandals dovetail. Right now we are working on co-opting Watergate into the Truman kitchen cabinet, and the earlier Tea Pot Dome scandals!

Those who want to be President are doomed to suffer from repetitive stress syndrome!.

See that 'tea pot dome' ~ like in 'tea party' ~ it's not a koinkydink that 'tea' keeps showing up in the foci of the political scandals.

I think that has to do with dimensionality ~ this one would be a dimension that works only at the size and duration of sound waves ~ so when it forces lowest energy pathways doctrines onto sound waves the same old stuff keeps coming out the end no matter what went in at the beginning!

It's like Watergate related events are attracted to Debbie WASSERMAN schulz simply because of the value of the sound of a W, as in whistling in the dark.

I"m looking for some serious resignations.

Like the mistake we would have made by electing anyone but Romney?

Obama would have probably won anyway, open records or not. That was Illinois and there were other witnesses ~ people who attended the same S&M sex club in New York

Quick, oligarchs, get Michael Moore to side with the leaker.
+++++++++++
You noticed. Somehow finding oneself agreeing with Michael Moore is a bit unsettling. In any case, this Odd Couple support for Snowden is causing a Civil War amongst Freepers and Consevatives. Similar things are happening on the Left I suspect. Time to checkout DU.

Indeed. How can I buy into any “concerns” this government has about security, when they not only allow but virtually facillitate open borders? I’m rather apt to believe their notions and interest in security only involves their own corrupt political class, not that of that of the American people.

The surveillance programs are causing a fissure on both sides of the aisle, with Republicans in favor of stronger national security measures finding themselves in the odd spot of supporting President Obama’s programs, which are a direct continuation of Bush-era policies. These conservatives, of whom Kristol is a spokesman, see the IRS scandal as indicative of an intrusive and aggressive government, but support extensive surveillance to fight terrorism.

“National security is different from internal matters of the government,” Kristol said. “We’re dealing with foreign threats here.”

Kristol pointed out that the various NSA programs require multiple levels of court orders.

“Conflate”? The GOPe now talks just like all the mouthpieces on the Left. Who provides your talking points, Mr. Kristol? We’re on our own now, boys.

Perhaps.
The POINT of course is that Obama is ruthles, and has no respect for individuals, for privacy, or for the rule of law.
Obama will abuse any information that he gets.
