'Six Islamic extremists who plotted a bloody attack on an English Defence League rally have been given lengthy jail terms.
The men travelled to the rally in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, in June last year armed with an arsenal of weapons including two shotguns, swords, knives, a nail bomb and a partially-assembled pipe bomb.
They were jailed for between 18 years and nine months and 19-and-a-half years.'

God bless and protect the EDL boys.
Can they get out early on good behavior? Does the British judicial system employ such leniency to prisoners?
So where are they REALLY from and how long had they been in the UK?
I think they were lucky to have gotten caught, otherwise it might have have sparked a civil war........
Sorry, you can’t blow up people you don’t like.
“Sobs could be heard from other observers, and shouts of “Allahu Akbar”.
This time British justice is not only on EDL’s side but actually puts Muslims in gaol. Anjem Choudary will be heard from and he is not amused.
“last year armed with an arsenal of weapons including two shotguns, swords, knives, a nail bomb and a partially-assembled pipe bomb.”
Heck of Arsenal my my. don’t what one would do with so many weapons. ;)
That's what I was wondering. I like the French system - no time off. If you behave yourself in prison, that day counts towards your sentence. If not, it doesn't. With them, 18 years means a MINIMUM of 18 years.
We ought to adopt that. I'm sick of this "let out early for good behavior" business.
Enoch was right...
Yes.
Yes.
Sadly.
They are all British-born as far as I am aware, which is the sad/worrying thing.
