Edward Snowden: the whistleblower behind the NSA surveillance revelations
The Guardian
Glenn Greenwald, Ewen MacAskill and Laura Poitras in Hong Kong

"His allegiance to internet freedom is reflected in the stickers on his laptop: "I support Online Rights: Electronic Frontier Foundation," reads one. Another hails the online organisation offering anonymity, the Tor Project."

Assange, Manning and Showden all need to be dealt with harshly. And the leftwingtards lionizing Assange and Manning she be dealt with even more harshly.

I don't believe Politico is being entirely honest in their reporting on this story.

Ed Snowdon video. He looks on the level to me. He is in Hong Kong far from our mocha mafia (Valerie Jarette, Obama, Holder, Susan Rice)

Good luck to him on all extradition attempts and at staying a freeman abroad, not being put into a US prison

According to the Guardian, Snowden was raised in North Carolina and suburban Maryland. The paper reported that he never completed high school, yet was able to enter a U.S. Army Special Forces training program in order to fight in the Iraq war.

Doesn't sound like the typical liberal to me.

Not sure about that. The Guardian and Glenn Greenwald are both liberal-left.

So far the MSM has been sympathetic to this whistle blower.

Eric Holder will do everything to send him to prison.

Should be interesting.

"And the leftwingtards lionizing Assange and Manning she be dealt with even more harshly."

Assange I am more ambivalent about. I'm not adverse to true "whistle-blowing" but that comes with a large measure of responsibility on those who would blow the whistle. Assange does have a checkered history. Manning is different. Manning took an oath, violated it and committed treason by giving away a treasure trove of info far larger than his ability to know just what all he was giving away.

"Edward Snowden, 29, told the Guardian that he wanted his identity made public."

So why did he jump ship to China - why do they have his back? He may be the gift that keeps on giving.

If it looks like a duck, acts like a duck, walks like a duck, smells like a duck, swims like a duck, its probably a duck.

Now, replace duck with BS.

Showden is a hero. The US government has illegally turned the massive spy apparatus of the cold war inward against it’s citizens in a wholesale assault upon us.

He stepped up and revealed it. As for the argument that it’s to safeguard our nation, I call 100% gold plated Bullcrap.
The NSA and CIA couldn’t detect the Tsarnev brothers despite massive Chechyn connections. They somehow missed Major Hassan though he was in direct email communication with Al Qeida recruiter Anwar al-Awliki, who was worthy off a Drone strike. And they somehow missed the whole Benghazi thing.
Add in the FACT that the borders are wide open, that we have a muslim as head of the CIA, that the FBI and Army have been forced to purge their training of any negative words about Islam, and that moslem immigration is up five fold from the year 2000.

But we are asked to submit to every word we type in text and email being read and stored. Somehow, then we magically revert to the zone where “security demands distasteful things” mentality.
So he is a hero for stabbing the beast at least once. The NSA and CIA are deeply involved in politically permitted treason for targeting us.

I know this because only the normal American people are targeted for anything they dream up, while Islam is simultaneously feted, celebrated, fed, armed, supported.

Unless of course, you actually believe the organs of our government are pure, living only to serve the people.

Regards the NSA, I defer to Patrick Henry. “Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined.”

So are you saying that someone's political leanings should determine how harshly the laws are applied to them?
