German government document gives backing to EU efforts to put Made in Israel label only on products from within pre-1967 lines.
Foreign Ministry officials downplayed as nothing new an answer the German government gave to a parliamentary question last month supporting EU efforts to specially label goods originating in Israeli-controlled territory beyond the Green Line.
Berlin, the officials said, was merely falling into line with other EU countries which were pushing this issue.

Well...it is Germany.
Germany viciously antiSemitic again.
Not a surprise really.
Maybe Germany wants Judea and Samaria
to be Judenrein?
Maybe we should require that goods made in post WWI Germany lands be labelled and coming from Naziland.
“Die Fahne hoch, die Reihen fest geschlossen,
“S.A. marschiert, mit ruhig festen Schritt!
“Kameraden die Rotfront und Reaktion erschossen,
“Marschiern im Geist, in unser Reihen mit!”
I have a feeling that the big loophole in this is that products made outside the 1967 line will be “finished” inside the the 1967 line, and then be labeled “Made in Israel”.
The US auto industry did much the same, assembling cars filled with foreign parts, then calling it “Made in America”.
Unless the EU puts inspectors in Israel, there is no way they will know differently.
Pure evil . . . or, cowardice . . . or, both?
Apparently this was a ruling made by an undersecretary of the bureau of something or other in the German foreign ministry, in a letter responding to an EU request.
This would be akin to calling Americans creepy because some flunky clown of John Kerry wrote a letter to the UN saying something stupid.
Thanks Olog-hai.

I’m curious about how products will be labeled which are made in the territories in question. “Made in Occupied Palestine”?
They didn’t vote to be part of the European Union either. (They didn’t get a vote in that decision.) The elites run the show there.
I support the girl-cott. Make a point of buying products so labeled and encouraging others to do the same, and don’t buy EU countries’ products so long as they use this labeling.
They’re looking at your shopping lists
And calling you at home
Disrupting super-market lines
With dancing and a song
So keep buying buy extra recommend
Sabra and Tribe
Don’t give in to
These neo-fascist punks and their lies
Support the girl-cott
Will film and post on You Tube, post link here when done.
The Pali politicians will declare that this-or-that product was made in the "occupied territories" (or will threaten to unless the company in question pays them off), and then German authorities will demand they be taken off the selves as being mis-labeled. The end result would be stores not wanting trouble and so not stocking anything from Israel.

Heh, heh, youtube has recently reclassified the Horst Wessel Lied vids as objectionable & requiring adult sign in.
Of course, most of the viewer comments are both disgusting and pro-Nazi so youtube’s caution is understandable. It’s really unbelievable what people still believe about the Third Reich and the Holocaust that it perpetrated.
The real issue, of course, is the resurgence of Jew-hatred in the Germany of the post Cold War era. Europe in general is now rabidly anti-Israel even though the Euros aren’t in any hurry to relocate to the Islamist ME.
