Portland State University College Republicans screened the film Obsession this week at a campus event. The film focuses radical Islams fascination and war with western civilization. During the screening a large contingent of socialists and Muslims stormed into the room and interrupted the show. The Islamo-leftists intimidate and shout down the College Republicans, effectively bullying them out of their own campus event.
Then the videographer was escorted out of the public event.

Interesting. The PSU website has a warning that it is unsafe and contains a virus. This website did not trigger my antivirus. It was marked as unsafe by several people who visited the site, in my opinion, to keep others from reading what was there. I have posted the contents below for the fearful: PSU President Responds Portland State University President Wim Wiewel has issued an email response to the goings on around his campus, where, last week, members of the Muslim Student Association (MSA), Students United For Palestinian Equal Rights (SUPER), and socialist groups crashed the College Republicans showing of the film Obsession. The MSA, SUPER, and socialists ran the College Republicans out of the room to shouts of SHAME and RACIST, and later a videographer was ejected for filming in the previously declared public space during the hijacked portion of the event, where everyone sat around discussing their feelings. The PSU administration has been flooded with e mails and phone calls, some supporting the College Republicans and their right to hold events that deal with the hard truth on controversial issues, and others condemning the CRs, calling them intolerant, islamophobes, and racists (nevermind that the College Republicans are led by an Arab student, whose Christian family fled Jordan). Here is the official word: From: PSU Info Date: Wed, Jun 5, 2013 at 9:28 PM Subject: Message from President Wiewel on campus free speech In recent days, events organized by a student group have triggered vigorous reactions from other students, and I view this campus tension as an opportunity to clarify our rights and responsibilities as members of the Portland State community. One of PSUs student-sponsored campus organizations held separate events in late May featuring a speaker and a film on jihadist threats. These events drew protests that the content was inflammatory and discriminatory against Muslims. The debate has intensified in recent days over the limits of free speech and how the university should respond to speech that is offensive to some members of our campus community. Portland State University respects and supports your right to express your political and social views. Free speech even when it is offensive is protected by the First Amendment. In fact, valuing a robust debate of ideas is the underpinning of a liberal arts education at a public university. The best response to speech that is offensive is not to stifle the speaker but to answer with counter speech and dialogue. At the same time, we also are responsible for keeping our campus community safe from fear and intimidation, and we ask that you express views in a way that respects others. Free speech imparts both rights and responsibilities on us all. All student organizations are required to follow the policies and procedures of the Student Activities and Leadership Program in order to receive student funding. In addition, PSUs Student Code of Conduct prohibits harassment, vandalism, inciting violence and similar misconduct. University staff members work hard to ensure that these rules are followed by those organizing and participating in all campus events. Even if you disagree with the content of these events, organizers have a right to sponsor them and others have a right to protest these events as long as all involved adhere to PSUs policies. Portland State is a diverse community representing cultures, religions and political views from across the globe. What brings us together is our commitment to providing educational opportunities for all students. To do that, we must be mindful of both our rights and our civility. We also have a duty to maintain a safe environment and culture of respect, and I encourage students to contact the Dean of Student Life and encourage faculty and staff to contact the Office of Global Diversity and Inclusion if you feel unsafe or unwelcome at PSU. Respectfully, President Wim Wiewel Chalk this one up as a victory for free speech, the Constitution, and the College Republicans.

Sounds more like they needed to call 911. The infiltrators and harassers should have been arrested. They need to try it again and have the cops on speed dial this time.

The last time our country became as divided as it is now, the Democrats fired on our flag at Fort Sumter.
I wonder who will fire the first shots this time?

No .. the sooner Conservatives develope a love for a good fight, heads will get knocked, teeth will become missing and the blood they love to see will be their own.
WHY, do you suppose, bullies get their way?
Because they're perceived to be physically 'badder' and they might hurt me.
It really IS that simple.
So Conservatives ... stop being Woody Allen and be John Wayne ... Just say, loudy .. "muthaPHUQUE you, ragfhead", and jump swinging.
Yeah ... y'MIGHT get a little hurt ... y'might get a LOT hurt.
But when it's done ... SOMEone is gonn'a think twice about bullying a Conservative.
Oh yeah .. I talk pretty bad in anonymity behind a keyboard because I'm over 65 and fairly decrepid
That's probably why I think and talk this way ... I don't give a shit anymore.
I quit smoking too late in life ... I'm almost dead anyway.

More than college, bro.
We're perceived as wimps because we don't fight.
We don't put the enemy in his and her place in Congress when it is CLEAR they're wrong or illegal or whatever.
And I thank my esteemed colleague on the other side of the aisle for his leadershiop and ... (PEE YUKE !!!)
We're gonn'a have to be ready to physically fight soon.

I went to look at their website and this was the first thing I saw.
If Oregon is an open carry state, I suggest holding events like this off campus and heavily armed.

Back in my day, we would have kicked the living shit out of them. Many of us played football, hockey, and rugby and looked at the campus leftists as weak-kneed little faggots. They still are. The only difference is that now, they have the Federal government on their side.

Tactically, it would be better for the Republicans to bring in some outsiders to provide security. That is, bring in a few bruisers to give a good thumping to the troublemakers then leave. Only one or two of the Republicans would know who the bruisers were, and they would play dumb.
Such agitators may tell themselves they wouldn’t mind dying for “the cause”, but getting whupped on is a whole different deal.
