Let me get this straight.
We are talking about PROPH-A- CEE inspired by God. The whole idea of prophecy is that UNKNOWN things of the future, being made known. And so, your position is that America isn't mentioned, because the human writers didn't know of America? So in essence what you are saying, is that if the human writers had known of America, surely they would have wrote about it.
That makes about as much sense as somebody writing an autobiography on Abraham Lincoln, mentioning you, because they knew you. Or the fact no autobiography's of Lincoln mention you, simply because the authors didn't know you.
It has nothing to do with the subject matter, just whether the author knows of something or not.
I guess to take this even farther, YOU aren't mentioned in Bible prophecy (unless of course you're the antichrist or false prophet) simply because the authors didn't know you. Had they known you, surely they would have included you in it.
There is one common element from the first book of the Bible to the last, and its the most important element.
ISRAEL
And her people.
Gods people...
And how he has made a covenant with them. In the end, prophecy is the telling of the story of God protecting and RESTORING Israel and HIS people. Its a story that happens in the future, but is as real as anything that has already happened in the past.
Any other country listed in prohecy is just a bit character. AND NONE are listed as being on Gods side.
Unless one is one of “the Tribe”.
But inspired by G-d doesn’t mean that it is not written by a human author with his limitations, the limitations of the language and knowledge of that time.
What would have been the word for America in ancient Greek?
How would someone have explained, say, a helicopter, to an iron age person? How would you explain a computer chip to such a person, or a telephone?
Thank goodness, the g-ds meet us where we are.

The ancient writers didn’t mention America because America did not yet exist. There is no such thing as “PROPH-A- CEE”.
I will also note in passing that the only person who could write an autobiography of Abraham Lincoln was Abraham Lincoln. Noone who could write an autobiography of Abraham Lincoln could mention me, because noone who could write an autobiography of Abraham Lincoln could have known me.
Of course he is wrong, but there are so many ways he could be wrong.
Prophecy is what God disclosed to the prophets. Other men then wrote this down.
One reason why the US might not be mentioned could be that God simply did not disclose this to the prophet. We have the word of God in the Bible. We can’t know the mind of God, though.
