... said the Senate will have to stiffen enforcement...

Marco, Marco, they don't enforce CURRENT borders, why would a new bill change that?

They only enforce the parts that result in more Democrat (legal or illegal, makes no difference) voters.

You should propose that we ADOPT MEXICO'S IMMIGRATION LAWS.

Nothing could be fairer to the illegal Mexicans than that.

Exactly. And yes, Rubio can go pound sand.

Not interested in handing the country to the Communists for the next 200 years.

Kill the bill and deport every single last illegal under existing law. Then we can talk about immigration reform.

Why is everyone so upset? I thought conservatives agreed last November that lesser evils like this by psuedocons were OK as long as it was a guy with an R doing it.

Wouldn’t want to be evil ‘purists’ would we?

First comes legalization, then comes this border security measure

Oh HELL no sir!

That is not conditional. Legalization is not conditional.

You can BET that it is conditional.

The conditions are it will NOT pass and you will NOT get re-elected!

Those are the conditions.

“Sen. Marco Rubio said Friday that illegal immigrants will get legal status no matter what happens with border security, but said the Senate will have to stiffen enforcement in order to win the 60 votes needed to pass his bill through his chamber. “

Maybe if Marco had a pair he would be courageous enough to advocate the D Word:

Deportation

That happens to be the law. It’s what the cowards we elect to high office are supposed to do with the foreign nationals who ignore our immigration laws, no matter how long they get away with it.

Eisenhower deported a million illegals during his Presidency. But unlike the slick politicians of today Ike was a patriot.

Of course the real problem is that Marco wants to play ethnic politics.

And he sees a chance that he could become President if he floods the United States with his own ethnic group and renders the historic American people obsolete.

FUMR!

Once they have gained "legalization" the end is here. One lawsuit claiming discrimination is all it will take and they will be voting in the next election working hard to have a totally RAT controlled Fed Gov and soon a RAT SCOTUS, RAT controlled Appeals courts up and down the line, as well as RAT controlled District courts.
Goodbye GOP - you will never win another election up against those odds. Remember the RAT party is the party of Santa Claus, and the GOP is the party of hard work.

Even if this crap passes the Senate, I highly doubt this will pass the House. How many House members are willing to risk their political careers by supporting this mess?

And there is no way Rubio will ever become President. The base will simply not support him. Period.

And these illegals have committed so many identity fraud felonies that they say we couldn’t even reasonably expect them to remember them all!

Giving these unconvicted felons legal status is a massive, country-destroying amnesty!

I have no problem with granting illegals legal status...but.....any illegal immigrant must never have a path to USA citizenship open to them, NEVER!!! Yes, they can have permanent legal status as guest workers, pay taxes and gain employment, but are not granted any government or public benefits whatsoever!!! Children of illegals are a different story. They should be allowed a path to USA citizenship, but...only after the reach 21 years old!!! Then they must wait another ten years to file for citizenship. Reason, maturity, common sense and political nuetrality!!! Any Senator or House Representative that does include this in the final legisation should be voted out of office!!! Solid, enforced border security is number one!!! Rubio & Nelson (FL) I hope you read this, or one of you folks does!!!
