“When a leader answers to himself, and not God, an atheist-led country ends in disaster. Look at Hitler, Pol Pot and Stalin,” he told The Local. Religion, “tames the selfishness naturally present in all of us.”

He makes a good point, but he could make another point. A monarch always works in the national interest because he is by virtue of his office a father of the nation. At this point Europe is filled with democratic governments that represent anyone except the nation that elected them. Same applies to America of course, but we at least have the excuse of not having a legitimate monarch.

Even the worst kings were STILL a whole lot better than the likes of Hitler, Pol Pot, and Stalin ever were. And quite frankly, it’s better off if Germany had its kingship restored, alongside Christianity (and let’s face it, democracy didn’t do Germany any favors. Then again, since it’s revival in France back in the 18th Century, democracy has NEVER done anyone favors. There’s a reason why America was made a Republic in name and deed than a Democracy).

That, and the Founding Fathers at least tried to make sure that we were a Republic instead of a Democracy, not to mention tried to make sure that we had a firm moral code (France tried to jettison the whole thing).

And yes, ultimately, Germany needs king and god to truly be made great again. The only reason it doesn’t have a king is because that idiot Woodrow Wilson, in order to make the world “safe for democracy”, pretty much let the rest of the Europeans pretty much gut the monarchy in the awful Versaillis Treaty. And for the record, the whole king and god thing being necessary to make great again also goes for France, Russia (kind of), and other European countries that no longer have a king, or even Emperor (or Kaiser or Tsar or whichever you wish to call it).

Thank you for understanding.

Russia absolutely needs monarchy; the trouble is, they are more likely to get an usurper than a legitimate Czar. For Russia, I’d look among German princes.

Yeah, I know, especially when Lenin and his Bolsheviks made sure to wipe out the entire royal family (including Anastasia Nikolaevna, unfortunately). Maybe if she actually DID escape, there MIGHT be a chance at restoring the Czars without worrying about a usurper. Unfortunately, the likes of Lenin and his ilk made sure she died, so we don’t have any chance at that now.

And even if we were to look at German princes to act as Czars, the Russians probably won’t be happy about it (the Russians and Germans have a bit of a feud regarding that bit). We’d need to make sure to mend any rifts between the two countries before we can even try using German princes as Czars. Heck, even though it’s not preferable, I’d even take a usurper if it at least brings in a Czar, that’s how desperate the situation is.

George, Nicholas and Wilhelm: Three Royal Cousins and the Road to World War I

And that worked out ever so well.

Christ is KING of KINGS — and the monarchies of Europe fell in the most brutal of ways when they forgot this fact. And much more chaos followed and continues to when the people they ruled over seek replacements for their kings in sources other than Jesus.

Hence antichrists like Hitler, Stalin, and others coming to fill in the gaps

The British Monarchy has done a good job though of adjusting with the times while balancing tradition. I am glad the Queen, the princes exist as holders of these titles not just for the good of their country, but of the rest of historical Europe also. And now an American Duchess is in the mix, which makes the monarchy even better and more relevant to wider swathes of people. There is much to appreciate about the institution. :)

You know, the supposed Germanophobia of the Russians is itself a product of Communist lies.

For centuries, German nobility lived in Russia and employed their administrative talent to work in government, the military, and German merchants were main trade partners of Russia.

True Russian is a Germanophile.

Well, if Russian Germanophobia was the result of Communist lies, then that gives all the more reason why we must clean up the communist garbage in Russia immediately (and believe me, far too much of it remains there to this day. For goodness sakes, they’ve still got a statue of Karl Marx up on the public square of Moscow, and that’s despite their tearing down the Lenin and Stalin statues. And that’s not even getting into Lenin’s mausoleum still being in operation or that the Communist party is still active and holding rallies, or even the fact that Putin expressed solidarity to them recently).

Yes.

What Russia needs is its own Maidan, lustration of the former Communist Party members, and a ban on new and old Communist symbols and monuments.

70 years of artificial selection produced, unfortunately, a new nation-parasite living on the remnant of the Russian nation. The riddance will be long and painful.
