Germans might not know it, but they desperately need the moral guidance of a reinstated royal family, the great-great grandson of the last Kaiser, Prince Philip Kiril of Prussia, told The Local’s Jessica Ware in an exclusive interview.
“Subconsciously, I think young Germans wants something they can orientate towards,” said Prince Philip. The 45-year-old father of six may work as a Protestant vicar, but he has become one of the loudest voices out of those who want to see Germany revive its monarchy.
Since Kaiser Wilhelm II abdicated in 1918, the country has been without a monarchy. But Prince Philip believes that a royal family with divine right conferred by God could offer Germany what it is missing.
“When a leader answers to himself, and not God, an atheist-led country ends in disaster. Look at Hitler, Pol Pot and Stalin,” he told The Local. Religion “tames the selfishness naturally present in all of us.” …

The intent of an “upper” and “lower” chamber of a representative body is to have the INTERESTS REPRESENTED laid out publicly and quite clearly.
The wealthy, powerful, influential people of society are represented by the upper chamber, whereas the “ordinary citizens” who do not have much wealth, power or influence individually are represented by the lower house.
Each viewpoint is important, but both must be taken into account when a government makes decisions.
The interests of the “ordinary citizens”, however, can become completely neglected if their representives in their chamber become beholden to wealthy, powerful interests.
What’s even worse, if powerful interests are able to operate secretively behind the scenes of both chambers, the result can, in essence, become a “captured state”.
A free press that is independent of any such secretive influences, which has and exercises a sufficient capability of investigative reporting, as well as an educational system and cultural and artistic environment that is free as well are necessary to prevent brainwashing of the public.
Both chambers must act in the best interest of the nation, which is not the case when powerful transnational interests are influencing them in ways that the public is not aware of or is powerless to prevent.
What it is missing is God and a sense of what it means to be a nation under God.
But a king by divine right isn't appointed by parliament. If God chooses you then you simply are king and a whole series of consequences flow from that. Just remember that kings aren't hired, they emerge usually from out of tragedy and chaos. Its not something to aspire to.

Maybe, but being "leader" isn't a job with salary and benefits you apply for and are hired for. If you are a leader, then lead. You don't wait for HR to check your references and then call you back, you lead.
Eventually, the country will need more than its finances and infrastructure being taken care of. It needs spirituality and religion and without God, Prince Philip added, saying Germany was running the risk of putting too much importance on money.
Without God, Germany like any country runs the risk of sinking into tragedy.
He's a vicar. If its a job, then he has his salary. If he has been called to it, though, then he has already been called to lead. He has a Disneyesque image perhaps of what it means to be a king. He may or may not understand he has already been handed a stage on which to act out his role and lead.
If Germany wants a king, it can have ours.
Yeah, a “moral” king is just the ticket, since the moral guidance of Christianity has all but disappeared from the German landscape and replaced with a mix of secular humanism and islam.

People long for some meaning or purpose in their lives. When you reject those things that gives such meaning, such as belief in God, you have to find meaning in human beings or institutions. Germany, just as all of Europe, is suffering from a spiritual rot. It is desperate to find something in which to believe. I could you give several anecdotes from my years of living in Germany to make my point; however, I found that the new religion in Germany is environmentalism. Eventually, they will tire of that, and they may become monarchist. Who knows?

Legitimacy. The monarch owns his country's infrastructure. An elected leader merely takes temporary care of it after they looted the monarch's property.
