Local radio guy this morning was talking about this and apparently there is an adult lung available for her, the docs just need to adjust it to her body size and she'll be good to go. Damn shame she had to go through all this nonsense.

Resizing living tissue is not like sewing fabric. This why they have separate lists for kids and adults in the first place.
Too much trauma and the transplant fails and the donor lungs are wasted and somebody else’s chance is wasted with it.
I don’t think the judge made the right decision at all. The Organ Board should be left alone by the politicians, media, and judges who all have more sympathy than sense.
My understanding is that an adult lung in a child has less chance of working than a child’s lung....and there are other complications that occur for that.
The child has cystic fibrosis....so do other children and adults who are dying and on the lists.
