Then Rubio needs to quit pushing the bill and that claim might be a little more believable.

Rubio has long been GOP-E - was NEVER a conservative.

He got exposed and now he’s trying to slither way from the truth.

Rubio = Romney = McCain = Bushies = liberal establishment GOP-E

I tend to agree, unless he can do something to rehabilitate that image.

Rubio should have went into this process by saying he was going to negotiate a bipartisan immigration bill that secured the border first...he should have never have come out for amnesty or a “pathway to citizenship” ....he could have bailed and rebuked McCain, Graham and Schumer and called them out on what a disastrous bill this was on every Sunday show and on Hannity, Limbaugh, etc. that would have elevated him in the eyes of a lot conservatives voters ...plus he would have had the advantage of saying he tried to pass an immigration bill when 2016 comes around

...but, he went full throttle amnesty and made a damn fool out of himself ...and is done as far as I am concerned

member of the stupid party is stupid ..what a surprise

I don’t agree with the bill, not even the framework, but I wish people would not trash Rubio.

Rubio supported and helped frame it, and stood by while his Gang of 8 comrades trashed opponents of the bill (Conservatives).

He is not an innocent bystander, but a willing accomplice.

The good news — and more important that Marco Rubio’s delimma — is that the bill appears like it’s going to crash and burn.

Rubio (R-FL) is searching for an escape hatch from the “Gang of Eight” immigration bill.
Easily done -

1. Put on your Big-Boy Pants
2. Stand up

3. Say:

“This bill has turned into another overbearing monstrosity like the Obamacare bill.
It is not what the American people want or need so I can not support it.”

______________________________________________________________

Exactly

If Rubio come out strongly against this travesty, he will ensure it’s defeat and do the country a great service.

In my book, all will be forgiven and forgotten.

This Immigration Bill has one and only purpose and that is to dilute the vote pool with Third World voters to offset all of the voters who are going to desert the Democrat Party once they figure out how badly they have been had - a process which we already see happening and which will turn into a rush for the exits once Obama Care hits home.

It’s no coincidence that Immigration Reform and Gun Control are the two signature goals of this administration and the reason they are in such a panic that both are going down in flames.

He’s performed as the worst, most disastrous GOP Senator in years—that’s how important and dangerous his amnesty bill is—and we’re not supposed to condemn him for it?

Anyone who aids a scheme that, if successful (from the “progressives” point of view), will literally spell the end of America as founded and as its citizens have known it for 237 years, and deliver a permanent ‘rat majority, deserves whatever opprobrium that generates. The only way that Rubio could redeem himself would be to actively work against it and that probably would not be enough because it would be too little/too late..
