The warehouse -- used for inventory storage -- is owned by the General Services Administration and leased to the EPA for about $750,000 per year.
I can understand interagency payments where GSA is leasing the space from a private property owner (occupant agency reimbursing GSA's rental), but a federally-owned building? I doubt that utilities and maintenance costs would add up to $750K per year for a simple warehouse.
$750,000 a year rent? Good grief!
Well, maybe it's not too bad if the Phantom of the Opera is in the next chamber over......sharing the digs and playing the organ for the man-cavers.

I’ll bet you will find surplus Chevy Volts stored in there...
This really needs to be on a major network new site, not just some mom-n-pop website.
later read
did they also have boxes of votes for the next election too?
I’m still waiting for the GOP the stupid party to actually get the white house open, seeing it is our house which we pay for and I couldn’t give a crap if her highness might be inconvenienced during the day, unless there is more going on in that house which the royal dictators do not want us to know about
I think your thinking of Chicago or San Francisco
or south east FL or any swing state in a Dem controlled county.
Maybe when there is the lefts holy grail questions like marriage or other social issues on the ballot they will have boxes of votes ready to go.
Watch my state FL next election.
We have two times zones but I guarantee that the Dem controlled counties in the south east will not report their votes until the rest of the state reports in , even though the polls areopen for another hour in the panhandle and the south east Dem areas have plenty of times to report and count.
It’s because they then know how many votes to get out of the bags to take the state,. they saw 2000 and said this is how they will do things in the future so never think my state will go republican when the Presidential elections are on even if the state is republican, both houses, ballot questions, guns, marriage, GOV, AG, everything
I think it was Mayor Daley I who when asked if Chicago would put JFK over the top in 1960, asked How many votes do your need.?
What the flip is the EPA doing with a box of passports?
