Why does teaching students about the Holocaust offend Muslims?
I remember something about the history of WWII and don’t recall that Muslims were involved in the extermination of the Jews and other groups of people.
They don’t believe it ever happened. It is all a jewish lie.

The Mufti, whom his nephew Yasser Arafat called our hero, is famous for his fanatical Jew-hatred. During World War II, the Mufti lived in Berlin, where he met Hitler and traveled in top Nazi circles (he even lived in Hitlers bunker toward the end of the war). Among his close friends was Adolf Eichmann, who is commonly thought to be the architect of the Holocaust.
Journalist Maurice Pearlman, author of the 1947 book “The Mufti of Jerusalem,” said that the Mufti advised Eichmann on the best ways to persecute Jews.
Hitler gave the Mufti a radio station, which al-Husseini used to preach Nazism and genocide in Arabic.
Al-Husseini practiced what he preached. During the Nuremberg Trials in July 1946, Eichmanns assistant, Dieter Wisliczeny, testified that the Mufti was a central figure in the planning of the genocide of the Jews.
al-Husseini asked Heinrich Himmler to send one of Eichmanns assistants to Jerusalem once the war was over, to aid the Mufti in solving the Jewish question in the Middle East.
the Mufti, in the summer of 1944, approached Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, and Hungary to speed up the extermination of the Jews by sending them to Poland where the Nazi death chambers were located. .

I dont know what Europeans he is referring to, because I am not aware of any country not teaching it. I have even had to correct drivel on FR that we British dont teach it (when in fact we probably teach it more than the US).
Also I have read some of Greenfield’s blogs/articles before, and if memory serves, replied to him, and corrected some rubbish he was posting about the UK. All in all, I’d be deeply cynical if Mr Greenfield says something is happening.
