Yep, the ‘safe’ choices all lost, too. Akin did cost us an easy win. He should have gotten out of the race. MO was a clear Romney win, but we lost against a weak incumbent.

I will be the first to talk about our poor candidates in FL, VA, and WI. All party choices. All ran lackadaisical campaigns. That doesn’t excuse the errors by Akin and Murdoch. Still think Murdoch’s comments were overrated, but follow Akin’s blunder, he shouldn’t have been that stupid.

Kind of amazing how the rinos do such a great job of distracting from their own massive losses though, when we were making history in 2010 with sweeping, magnificent tea party victories, the media and GOPe managed to eventually create the impression that it was some kind of tea party loss.

In 2012 when the top of the ticket lost an election that they couldn’t lose, and lost the Senate, with Palin giving us our only Senate seat pick up and the tea party winning a huge victory with Cruz, and the top of the ticket unable to even carry their own home states, the GOPe did it again, even lying about Akin being the tea party candidate, when he wasn’t.

The GOPe ran two candidates who couldn’t even win their own home states.
