Boy Scouts and adult volunteers wore their uniforms Sunday as they marched in Utah's gay pride parade — defying a leader of the youth organization who had said they couldn't do so under the organization's guidelines prohibiting advocating political or social positions.

It’s sad that we have to deal with homosexuality at all. I will get flamed, but, things were easier when homosexuals were in the closet, and we didn’t have to deal with any of this.
Since the activities of scouting do not deal with sex identity or any of that, it’s unfortunate that the organization is now forced to deal with it. And, now that they allow openly gay scouts, pressures or lawsuits to force acceptance of openly homosexual leaders will happen. Count on it.
You could see this coming. This is why you don’t allow fags in the Boy Scouts or the Military. You can’t stop them from lying and joining, but once you “allow” them, then you get flaming outward demands of approval.
This was obvious from the start.
The Boy Scouts should fold and let some new Christian organization replace them that has the backbone to fight the fight without taking a penny of government money or being a charitable non-profit. The parents would never know the difference and you could set all the rules without tyrannical interference from government.

Maybe it should read, "Morons Building Bridges".
Of COURSE it was rigged. The vote would have never even come up if they knew they wouldn't get their desired result. It took a few months to come up with this theater performance after the outrage that followed the January announcement, but they eventually erected the facade. But we'll never know.

Boy Scouts defy orders by wearing the traditional symbol of their organization. American boys were marching in a gay pride parade. There was a gay pride parade in Utah.
May God have mercy on all of us.
Say it loud and say it proud...should be the new scout motto.
And then deny membership to homosexuals and get a civil rights/discrimination lawsuit slapped on you. Gay "rights" means allowing the right of people to embrace homosexuality but removing the God-given right of people to tell homosexuality, "go somewhere else."
Gay "rights" is a sophistry. It's about removing rights. When folks like Obama and Romney say they're "for" gay marriage and gay adoption, what they really mean is that they're for punishing churches, adoption agencies, wedding photographers, caterers, etc., that tell homosexuals, "Find some other church/adoption agency/photographer/caterer, etc., to do your event. We'll pass."
Government tyranny -- moral tyranny, as government does this because it deems it immoral to discriminate against homosexuals -- at its most deceitful.

This one isn’t difficult. The reason the BBSA did this was to keep the corporate payola coming in to the National Council. Those folks who work there have mortgagees to pay and executed their marching orders. We were sold out for thirty pieces of silver.

there is a difference between “gay” boys in scouts, and
scouts as an organization openly approving or saying that “gay” behavior is just fine in scouting.
“gay” boys (to the extent any 12 or 13 year old kid knows he is really “gay?”) will always be in scouts..and that’s just fine with me.... but the organization as an organization... should still uphold basic moral standards ... and let’s remember that many parents put their boys into scouting to get some help in raising them properly.... (scouting can be particularly helpful for kids lacking a father at home for any reason, but scouting can help any boy grow up right).
I personally do not object at all to a “gay” boy in scouts. I do object to the official “teaching magisterium” of Boy Scouts of America telling the boys that “gay” conduct is fine, proper, acceptable, or wonderful with Scouting. Having “gay” boys in the organization and treating them equally, is right. Telling the boys that “gay” behavior is right, is terribly wrong for an “in loco parentis” mentoring organization that is supposed to be helping boys develop, mature, grow up
Why would there be gay pride parades in Utah, of all places and why would Boy Scouts be expected to march in it?

Very well said. We are seeing an open endorsement of homosexuality here. That is far different than the tolerance of young men who might happen to be homosexual.
Only the beginning. It will get much, MUCH worse than this. It is only the start of so-called "Geh pride" month.
And yet we were told to make one of those leaders ‘our’ leader for the good of the country...Screamed at in fact.
