Lol
Badabing
Being successful is hardly about just being smart
If it was Forbes 400 would all be tenured academia
Actually it is you making his point dear
Sorry to hear that someone else can not see its un-Christian to think one’s wife is obligated to blindly obey their husband. Is your wife your slave?
Any people who actually believe such nonsense are often selfishly looking for power over another and use religion as their excuse. How is that mentality any different from what Muslims practice? Anyone who actually practices such is clearly an abusive person.
To some degree that kind of thinking was a cause of feminism’s wedge used against good healthy common sense marriage relationships.
She’s become a militant “she power” fanatic since she had a kid.
Well they have their opinions and everyone else is wrong.
You are defending your emotive opinion with the hyperbole and straw man excuses of a perspective grounded in immaturity
Should you wish to compare the hard data of back when traditional families were valued by our culture with the morass of today then ping back
Unlike you I was alive then and lived it
We are a poor shadow of then....broken largely
And the data in the study reported in this article is a big chunk of why that is.....single female led families
That you wish to side with a childless scientologist and a shrill nanny dependent news reader gal over the hard empirical proof is unfortunate
Success is not primarily dependent upon smarts, but the reason for women breadwinners is because of a failed economy that forced women into the workplace.
The economy roared in the 80s, 90s and even whimpered ok in the early 200s
Women did not just enter the workforce with this long recession
Societal changes brought women into the workplace...that and the birth control pill
nearly two generations ago now
70s is when it really took off
women have always worked on occasion...WWII for example or when divorced or widowed
feminists who likely were never going to be asked to marry anyhow were the vanguard of a movement which suited their needs but which has been used to brainwash millions of young privileged women that they should be more than wives and moms which was something the feminists leaders were not ever going to be anyhow
and basically from jealousy and resentment they sprang forth am effort to kill the traditional family...and they have largely
Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society." The very fact that that so irritates people is proof of how right it is, because in many cases today the most offensive thing anybody can say is the truth about something. Political correctness was created to mask and hide the truth.....from Rush Limbaugh
Wow, after reading this thread, I’m kind of shocked to see the level of Muslim-style putdowns of women.
Those who think that the Bible intends for women to exclusively stay at home and not make her living in the world should re-read Proverbs 31. A Godly man has nothing to fear from an accomplished, virtuous woman. So why do you guys all sound so frightened of women in the marketplace? I think you need to put on your big boy pants.
And yes. I’ve been happily married for over 25 years. I cherish him and he cherishes me.
Sad to see that anyone still believes the nonsense that the economy thrived during those years.
All that matters is what you earn vs. what your expenses are. In the 60’s it was still the norm for one parent to work. The norm is now two, yet even with a second income more families are hurting now than then.
Yes, the rich have gotten richer and the stock market has thrived, but real income has taken a nosedive. If you think that is bull, you are blissfully unaware of reality.
We can argue about why this has happened, but not about if it has happened.
