MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A Wisconsin appeals court says a law requiring voters to show photo identification at the polls is constitutional.
Republicans passed a law in 2011 requiring voters to show photo identification, saying the mandate would help fight election fraud. The League of Women Voters filed a lawsuit in Dane County Circuit Court in October 2011 challenging the law. Judge Richard Niess ruled the law was unconstitutional in March 2012, saying it would abridge the right to vote.

The referenced article is another good example of articles that address Constitution-related issues in a way that are at least inadvertently targeted to low information voters.
Excellent points. Not only is it presented in a way that targets low informatin voters, they don't even say what Constitution they are talking about. It's safe to assume that they are discussing the Wisconsin State Constitution, but most people immediately think of the US Constitution when they only hear "costitutional" or "unconstitutional".

The Supreme Court of the United States ALREADY ruled Voter ID CONSTITUTIONAL in April of 2008. That didn’t stop Eric Holder from suing every state that tried to implement it before the 2012 election. He should’ve been prosecuted for that, and that alone.

Is the Photo ID that is required under Obamacare also ‘racist’???
To: Sopater
The league’s attorney, Lester Pines, had no immediate comment.
Another Dane County judge’s decision blocking the requirement in a separate lawsuit still stands. Two federal lawsuits challenging the requirement are pending as well.

I was merely pointing out what "might" happen if one refused to show a photo ID at the airport.
I don't recall this discussion regarding the 2nd Amendment at all.
I do not ever forfeit my right to self-defense but will recognize the airlines' conditional rule of requiring my photo ID to board their airplane and thoroughly endorse requiring a photo ID to vote as voter fraud is greater than believed to be.

No, this does not lift the injunction. This pertains just to the League of Women Voters lawsuit, although it is a welcome decision. There is another injunction in place. Unfortunately, I heard J.B. Vanhollen talking on the radio this AM that the libs can continue to file injunctios. The Legislature has something else in the works.

LOL! I’ve posted WI articles thinking they were positive, then they turned out to be negative!
You’re right - since our media is so b@stardized, it’s hard to keep things straight. Good is Bad. Right is Wrong. Up is Down.
