that is a dumb way to pick a lawyer, just saying. You have to talk to a bunch of them to find one that believes in your case, not just the fees, and will call you back once they have taken your case. It ain’t easy

An armed society is a polite society.
It is not in the interests of the society to allow criminals to prey upon defenseless minority, regardless of whether the majority approves their so far legal activities or not. Criminals who start on gays will quickly include non-gays into the list of their victims. The principle of "divide and conquer" is not just words; it really works.
If criminals manage to divide the society into a bunch of groups who hate each other, any one group will not get help from others when it needs it. That's how a small but organized party comes to power in a large country - by playing other groups against each other.
I shall endeavor in another lifetime to please you if karma deems it. Until then, I needn’t recount my history or efforts - unless under oath.
uh methinks the criminal enterprise we call our government is attempting to do exactly what you are describing. Yes, the Constitution and Bill of Rights protect our right to bear arms, the right to self defense is a natural right, just like the right to worship as one chooses, right to speak, right to privacy, right to own property, right to travel etcetera etcetera
