Bad karma: Wild video shows mugger immediately hit by bus
SFGATE ^ | 05/24/13 | Jeff Elder

In a stunning illustration of karma — or perhaps crime and punishment — this video shows a mugger in Colombia wrestling away a woman’s mobile phone and immediately being hit by a bus. But the story doesn’t end there. The woman — robbed by the suspect just moments before — actually gets down and helps her attacker out from under the bus. And in what seems like a miracle, the mugger was only slightly injured, the UK’s Telegraph reports.

The Telegraph says the mugger and accomplices had pulled similar crimes, but perhaps this incident will change his ways. Hit by a bus, helped by his victim, and only slightly injured? It’s hard to imagine a criminal getting luckier than that.

I know! There was a man right next to them just watching the struggle.. Then he watches the mugger get hit by the bus.. Then he calmly gets on the bus..

Seems there are few_Men_left in the world today.

Unlike this mugger who get sucked-under a train after a failed robbery attempt.

What's really fascinating about that clip are the reactions of the bystanders. They back off quickly at the snatching attempt is made, and then several react in utter shock (turning away, clutching each other in horror) when the punk meets what was probably his swift and poetic end.

No movement whatsoever towards helping the victim - the one guy who dies move in that direction looks like he was oblivious up until the point when the punk goes under the train.

Just amazing that he was so oblivious to the oncoming traqin, but after the failed attempt, he’s just trying to get away.

The bystanders are fascinating to watch; you’re right. Each time I re-watch it, I see someone doing something differently.

Instant karma for the punk robber. Splat.

Damn, that’s the same video! It was on one of the Mark Levin threads last week. Sure looks like a trackless train.

Big DUH on me... I didn’t watch the sfgate video before I posted it.

That’s a funny coincidence. That you would think of a different image of the same incident, without even reading it.
