In Sweden, it's typically very segregated. You learn which subway lines to avoid and which areas of the cities are no-go. Typically, it's pretty far from the city center (where the elites, very Swedish live) and the affluent suburban areas where the serious money lives.
I lived there for about a year and a half. I understand how it's very easy for them to pretend that it's not happening. Where the riots are happening is a known Muslim crime infested area.
It's quite weird, the further out you go, the more Muslim it can get. It's kinda surreal. One day I took several busses and trains to get to a certain mega hardware store. I was out in the middle of the burbs and at the bus stop, in the middle of nowhere, I see two women in the whole black full cover get up. Another day, I took a wrong bus and ended up in a weird suburban area loaded with commie bloc apartments. It was nearly all Muslim.
