Loss of membership, donors, big and small, and a couple of sexual harasssment lawsuits and I see BSA folding completely in ten years...
Gay groups will aggressively “monitor” the BOy Scouts to make sure the policies are implemented fairly and equitably.
Which means,a thousand law suits and crippling legal fees.
The next step is the gays will demand that openly gay men and teens can become leaders, because to deny that would be discriminatory.
The gays win either way now.
They get to destroy a 103 year old staple of American society that actually benefits boys and teens and help them assume masculine traits and skills, and become better members of society.
On the other hand, while they destroy it, they get to come in and sample the delicacies and make new converts to the homo lifestyle.
Parents have to take their kids out now to protect them.Later, it will be discriminatory to do that.
Churches have to sever their sponsorship of troops, because they are another target for the homo agenda.
The homos played chess while everyone was playing checkers.
This is a very sad day for America. The gays will not stop until they have dominated the Scouts, and turned it into the image of themselves.
Anyone who doesn’t understand that is seriously deluded.

Any scoutmaster or kid that remains in this new perverted incarnation of the Homo Scouts can frankly all go burn in hell. And I’m going to say exactly that to the next person I ever see donning the uniform... that they are disgrace to everything the organization once stood for.

He is not going to have mercy on people who defy Him and practice what He calls an abomination. IF, if they repent this sordid sin, He will forgive. But, if they keep it up, then it is the lake of fire for them.

So, it CAN be done.
In regards to the Boy Scouts.....with the right financing, contributions, motivation, etc. some determined group could start a competing scouting organization. I believe there would be a rush of parents yanking their sons out of the Scouts and enrolling them in "morally straight" troops.
When I was a yout, I belonged to the Campfire Girls which competed with the Girl Scouts....so, again, it CAN be done.

I hope someone has the initiative to start an alternative to the BSA...one that believes in and promotes American and Christian values.
This is awful. My middle son earned his Eagle last night. We’ve given the youngest a year to get his. We’d like it to still mean something. This will ruin scouting and the first openly gay young man to come into our troop, my boys will leave. Everyone at our troop on all levels was opposed to this. I don’t know how they got 60% of the vote. I cannot understand how any parent would want their child exposed to this. I’m so upset about this.
God Bless America Foundation controls the rights to Irving Berlin’s famous song, which earns $100,000 - $800,000 a year. According to the link below, the foundation was going to withhold royalities to the Boy Scouts unless they accepted homosexuals.
