NIGEL FARAGE ON 12% TAX RATE FOR MEMBERS OF EU PARLIAMENT: IT IS TAX FRAUD ON A MASSIVE SCALE!

The European Parliament met Tuesday to discuss the issue of tax evasion throughout the UK and the Eurozone, and how the European Parliament might clamp down on those attempting to protect their well earned wealth from government confiscation.

All was going according to plan, until UKIP member Nigel Farage was given the floor.

Farage immediately launched into a classic rant against Barroso and the rest of the EU bureaucrats, stating that it is not the average man on the street that is engaging in tax fraud, but the European Parliament members themselves:

If we look at the EU officials who work for the European Commission and the European Parliament, the highest category [the most common grade is AD12] are people that earn a net take home pay of just over 100 thousand pounds a year. And yet under EU rules they pay tax of 12 per cent. It is tax fraud on an absolutely massive scale.

Farage’s epic and spot-on rant is below:

Just watch Nigel Farage and some of the reactions. He's great. He gets to the point very quickly and even brings up the lessons of the 80s: bring taxes down, simplify taxes and then for those that wish to obey the law, there's no need to use tax havens.

The EU’s crooks are a unique kind of crook that aren’t afraid to conflate tax avoidance with tax evasion.

That is brilliant. I love to see hypocrisy get a firm kick in the teeth.

No different from our own putting themselves above the law.

Exactly! Weird how Congress can pass laws that apply to everyone but themselves. Obamacare doesn't even apply to Obama.

No government can be trusted to police itself or to avoid abuse of power. None. That is why, although not a perfect solution, strict term limits are essential. Further, there needs to be private sector oversight of all federal agencies, including oversight by private citizens. Those involved in this oversight need to be rotated such that none of them has an ongoing role. Two words that should seldom fit together are ‘career’ and ‘government’.

And laws in place to make their removal easier. And real penalties. Not less but harsher for betraying the public trust. That goes for public employees as well. If you or i did what Rangel did on our taxes we’d either be in prison or slaving forever to pay back the IRS. He should have been in jail automatically. Period. And forever barred from sucking at the public teat again.

This guy is great, it’s worth digging through YouTube to find his older stuff. I’ve been a fan for a while.

You say weird and i’ll say criminal. It’s obviously not but only because they pass their own laws.

May I live long enough to see Farage become Prime Minister and someone similar become President. It would be like living in the 80’s all over again!
