In the end we may need to send both Obama and McCain to Syria to explain to the Christians why they believe they are a useless minority that should be murdered off.
Has it ever occurred to anyone that these John McCain types in the State Dept and the Brits and other western interventionists maybe would want eastern Christians cleansed from the Middle East because they tend to be Orthodox Christians and thus identify with Russia in some way or have some sympathy with Russian Orthodox co-religionists?
Would the whoever John McCain is shilling for or the Foggy Bottom State Dept or Londonstan want a democratic Syria where 10% of the Syrian population is pro Russian if these Syrian Sunni rebels did indeed create a true democracy rather than a fake one like we have now in Muslim Brotherhood dominated Egypt (which is still an American ally)?
No, I think for the John McCain types / those in the west backing this jihad in Syria - the elimination of Orthodox Christians and eastern Catholics from these important oil and gas pipeline nations is part of the equation for defeating or blocking Russian power in the region.
If this is not an active policy to make sure eastern potentially Russian allied Christians are beaten down and destroyed I bet they would not mind that being a side benefit of it in any case.
