HOUSTON (KTRK) -- An attempted robbery just outside of downtown Houston erupted into a gunfight that left one suspect dead and the victim injured, police say.
The shooting happened around 6:30am in the 2900 block of Pease.
Police say a man coming home from a club was confronted by as many as five suspects. When the suspects tried to rob him, a shootout erupted.

I’d say a perfect example of why people need more than seven rounds per magazine.
DemocRAT voters are dropping like flies. I can see why the ‘RATS are so anxious to pass amnesty. The need replacement voters.
Five to one, with the five having the element of surprise and armed. End result being one assailant dead, at least one, probably two more hit and the victim gets to walk (or at least limp) away after the assailants fled - yeah, that’s a win and a good example of why carry is a good thing.
5 suspects... what did they hope to get from this one guy at 6:30 in the morn? He probably spent most of his money at the club... and maybe on some breakfast...

But here in Texas, we’re still allowed to fight back, so what works so well in Phili and Baltimore (i.e., 5 youths attacking a white guy who thinks it’s hip to be in downtown in the middle of the night)...sometimes has different results.
Perfect example of why a larger capacity magazine is better.
The main reason I have guns is the fear of criminal gangs and the breakdown of social order. No matter the threat, I plan to increase the odds in my favor. Owning firearms greatly increases the odds in my favor.

Houston is run by a freeking crazy Democrat mayor and if I recall correctly, his police chief isn’t much saner.
Just look at all the crimes/shooting/other killings listed in the “titles” below the article.
Sure seems like a nice place to live (if you’re a Democrat or stupid).
