The Homeland Security Department has granted legal status to 99.2 percent of all illegal immigrants who have applied under President Obamas new non-deportation policy for young adults, according to the latest numbers released Friday.
Thats a slight drop from the 99.5 percent approval rate reported last month.
The policy, known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, grants legal status to most illegal immigrants under the age of 31 who came to the U.S. before age 16 ...
DACA is seen as a test-run should Congress pass a broad legalization for the 11 million illegal immigrants estimated to be in the U.S.
Thats one reason why the high approval rate is striking.
Critics of the Obama policy say a rate that high means the administration isnt doing much screening of those who are applying.

Did more germans apply this month?
Why don’t we just shut ICE down? What’s the point?
The hate America first tribe is winning for now but it will be hell to pay in the end.
You want to know why it is 99.2 percent. Napolitano has set a policy that ICE can’t question the veracity of any claim to qualify. If they say they qualify ICE is supposed to grant them status. Kinda like if your group claimed you qualified for a tax exempt status and the IRS automatically granted it.

The day will come before too much longer when what's now called "liberalism" will be as socially acceptable as George Wallace's segregation. The only question is how much misery America will have to go through before the obvious becomes obvious.
They’re all being admitted because sooner or later they’ll all vote Democrat.
It isn’t rocket science.
There's that number again.
You know which one I mean. The one which has been waved about for a couple of decades now to tell us how many patently criminal people we have here from elsewhere.
There is just one problem: No way that number has stayed the same.
Their time is up many things are in the works the tribes leader has made it obvious their way is the wrong way.
Even the low info voter knows we are in a hell of a mess.
Much like the Cuban boatlift people. Politicians greeted them with open arms & they in turn were rewarded by getting kicked out of office & replaced by Cubans who turned Miami into Little Havana. All street & store signs are in Spanish & they even have their own yellow pages to make sure their businesses are used.
Once we get rid of this corrupt regime we will need to rescind citizenship on all America-hating freeloaders.
Don’t say it can’t be done. If they can raise taxes retroactively, they can rescind citizenship for those who never should have had it in the first place.
I’d also like to see a new Constitutional amendment that requires skin in the game to vote. Either you are working in a non-government job and paying in more taxes than you are receiving in benefits and tax credits, you are in the military, the spouse of someone who one of the aforementioned, or you are retired from a productive career.
Anyone who is on the dole should not be allowed to vote. The Framers accomplished this by only allowing landowners to vote. Since we’re no longer an agrarian economy, land ownership does not carry the same meaning. But the principle of responsibility and productivity should be carried forward.
Principle of responsibility and productivity should be carried forward.
It’s got my vote.
