There is a vid floating around where I guy has tied ‘the video’ back to a sub-constractor to the State Dept. It’s pretty interesting. I can’t post it b’cause I’m on a BBerry.

There really was (supposedly) a protest in Egypt and they just decided to make it seem like a ‘movement’ of some sorts.

Are we sure about that? The cleric in Egypt was part of the original story put out, a small segway to explain how the video surfaced.

I believe nothing at face value concerning this story, as they have shown to be liars from the start. Why is this bit any more believable? Its not mentioned in the CIA reports.

An excerpt of the video was dubbed in Arabic and shown on Egyptian TV on September 9 by Sheikh Khalad Abdalla, who has a big bump on his forehead.

No question, it helped to gin up protest demonstrations in a variety of wog locales. However, Benghazi was not among them, as any moron reading the New York Times or the Boston Globe would have known a day or two later. Benghazi was a military assault, not a protest demonstration gone out of control.

We have, for example, the testimony of Ethan Chorin, who was in Benghazi with Dr. Thomas Burke of Mass General, Boston. They were there to assist Libyan doctors in setting up an Emergency Room operation at the Benghazi Medical Center. They and the Libyan doctors were slated to meet with Ambassador Stevens Wednesday morning, the 12th.

On the evening of the 11th, Chorin was on the phone with the Ambassador's security detail arranging the meeting, when the call ended abruptly with a shout of "We've got a problem here". Then Chorin and Burke were left to hole up in their hotel listening to sounds of the distant violence. And the Libyan doctors ended up treating the Ambassador unsucessfully at the BMC for severe asphyxia.

IOW, no demonstration, no build-up. Just a sudden surprise attack by Al Qaeda. Which we now know would not have been a surprise, but for the incompetence of the Obama / Clinton State Department.

Stephen F. Hayes at The Weekly Standard has been simply terrific in all of his Benghazi reporting. Here's "What About The Video?"

Very compelling chronology of the events and analysis on the who, why and when the video excuse came from.

We’re supposed to be talking about the IRS scandal and forget the Benghazi tragedy. I’m going to join the Tea Party if the media lets Benghazi drop.

Hillary was the first to use the "Youtube video" excuse.

10:38-39 p.m., 9/11/12. @StateDept tweets: " #SecClinton: I condemn in the strongest terms the attack on our mission in Benghazi today. http://state.gov #Libya" and "#SecClinton: We have confirmed one @StateDept officer was killed in #Libya. We are heartbroken by this terrible loss." Hillary Clinton issues a statement, saying, "I condemn in the strongest terms the attack on our mission in Benghazi today. As we work to secure our personnel and facilities, we have confirmed that one of our State Department officers was killed. We are heartbroken by this terrible loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and those who have suffered in this attack." She adds: "Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet. The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation. But let me be clear: There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind."

That was when Hillary herself took over the Cairo embassy Twitter account and personally posted. (anyone who thinks she wasn't directing the earlier Tweets is smoking something) That was at 10:38 PM Eastern Time. That would have been 4:38 AM Sept. 13th in Benghazi. About the time Woods and Doherty were making their last stand.

The first known non-specific reference to "the video" was made in apologies tweeted by the Cairo embassy in the early morning of Sept. 11th before any crowd had assembled there.

If only a minority of people in the Arab world knew about the video a majority knew about it after the Administration seized on it as the cause of all anti-American sentiment in the Middle East. Obama told the world at the UN, and he and Hillary produced a TV commercial for Pakistanis apologizing for the video. Obama’s disinformation campaign didn't fool anybody and was embarrassing on an international scale.

Libyan President Mohammed el-Megarif: “The idea that this criminal and cowardly act was a spontaneous protest that just spun out of control is completely unfounded and preposterous. We firmly believe that this was a pre-calculated, preplanned attack that was carried out specifically to attack the U.S. Consulate.”

Not to seem dismissive of those murdered at Benghazi, I find the assault against the 1st Amendment to be an incredibly egregious crime against the Country, its citizens, the Constitution.

US officials advanced to the World the opinion that speech in the form of art/video is responsible for the terrorism inflicted against the US, US Citizens, US interests. In this Benghazi case, these same officials held that speech was the catalyst for murder.

The false narrative was quickly spread by the media. Watch the deception at work here, this published immediately on Sept. 11, 2012:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlUFuX_9dwA

Notice they call Nakoula, 'Sam Basile' (sounds like a CIA play on the word "Imbecile"), and that they call him an "Israeli American" when in actuality he is a Coptic Christian American?

That was the 0bama-MSM propaganda line.

The protests and attack in Cairo weren't about that stupid 'video.'

Brian Lilley: The MSM is lying about the muslim riots
Interviews on the streets of Cairo. 'Video' had nothing to do with protests and attack.

"Blame it on the Video" was a Fraud for the Cairo Rioting, Too
