Call it Luke Russert's version of "bitter clingers" on steroids . . . In Russert's world, there are apparently two kinds of Republican congressmen. The "smart" onesto be found on the Ways & Means Committeeand the others, whom he calls the "God, guns and guts people," presumably in reference to this book.
Russert made his statement on today's Morning Joe, responding to Joe Scarborough's question as to whether Republicans would overplay their hand over the current scandals. According to Russert, Republicans chose well in holding today's hearing of IRS officials before the Ways & Means Committee because that's where the GOP puts, its stars: "it's not the God, guns and guts people on the Ways & Means Committee: it's the smart people."

Luke Russert: ‘smart’ Republicans aren’t the “God, guns and guts” people. Ping to Today show list.
Luke Russert........not as smart as his dad. Tim was able to conceal his Leftist ideaology pretty well. Luke isn’t that ‘smart’.
Little poser. He’d be a mid-level paper pusher if his dad wasn’t a superstar.
Not a patch compared to his father and his father was a d!ckhead.
Since liberals don’t think there is anything wrong with the recent scandals, they will always think the Republicans have overplayed their hand in pursuing them.
IMO, in order to fire up the base, Republicans need to use these scandals to scare the crap out of the complacent among their base.
What scandal? This is just who these people are ordinarily....
How about smart Republicans calling for decommissioning the IRS?
Luke: “Pay attention to me and to my name, RUSSERT... because my daddy was famous!!”
He CLEARLY spends way too much time in Manhattan and inside the beltway. Ignorance and arrogance is always a deadly combination.
I’ve noticed several articles the past couple of days with the word “overplayed” in use.
So typical of the left. They know they have overreached, “overplayed” their hand putting that hand into places it doesn’t belong, but trying to get away with what they can. Typical radical behavior. Like children always testing the parents to see what they can get away with, but I digress it’s actually a form of projection as they identify Conservatives as doing precisely that which they have, and are doing.
It got run over by a wheelchair back in the ‘30’s
Translation...let the spineless rinos ‘investigate’...so that the whole thing gets swept under the rug.
Liberals ignore this sound advice:
Prov. 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.
It will be their undoing.
Tim Russert was no conservative, but he wasn’t blind either. Luke was done no favors by NBC when they dumped him into that looney bin known as Morning Joe. He has been thoroughly indoctrinated by some of the worse examples of adult role models imaginable.
“God, guns and guts people”
Also known as:
- Patriotic Americans
- Believers in the US Constitution
- Taxpayers (as opposed to Moochers)
- Not 47%-ers
Who the hell’s Luke Russert?
